The cv axles on 4Runners are not positively coupled, meaning they can fall apart like that if the boots are busted. The part that came apart in your hand, when the suspension travels up and down, that part moves in and out. Even when putting new axles on, you need to be careful not to let the axle droop or fall apart. It usually won’t because the new boot is holding it from falling apart, but be aware.
This is actually due to a leak in the blinker fluid reservoir. Once the tank cracks the highly corrosive blinker fluid melts the boot. Toyota recalled this in 06.
lol no problems with volume i didn’t even know my radio did this haha but I think twice in a year I have had to press the reset button to turn it off/on sometime don’t go off or on but I know a lot about car audio and that’s probably a wiring issue not the radio itself I bought it this way as well not me that installed
A little bit of wobble is not a major issue for concern. That said If that is a new harmonic balancer and assuming it's good because new doesn't mean good that wobble that you have is actually coming from your crankshaft. first thing you should do is check and make sure that bolt is torqued down correctly. If it is, what you need to do next is make sure that your aftermarket alternator has a stock alternator pulley size, or you need to change you belt size because if the pulley is bigger and you're still using the stock belt you're probably putting too much tension on that crankshaft harmonic balancer and causing a warpage to your crank making the belt rub the block when coming off the alternator. Absolute worst case scenario is that the damage is done prior to you owning the car and the crankshaft nose has a bend in it and you'll need to replace the crankshaft. Based off that fan I'm assuming this is a 99-06 5.3L
I love finds like this. It would make a great trinket box or custom storage for a special watch or pens. I have exclusive access to a junkyard that was in operation from the 1920s to the early 2000s. Not many people know it even exists, but the current owners are selling the land and I get to pull anything want from the price until its sold. The catch, the entire mile long, 1/4 mile wide stretch has been plowed over. I've puiled up a piece of metal to find an entire garage sitting in the foundation. I was snake crawling through the debris like it was Omaha Beach on D-Day for 1930s - 50's tail lights that were still in the packaging. For weeks, i walked the same path carrying literally tons of chrome parts, hubcaps, steering wheels, motors, chopped doors, fenders, grills, an entire 1965 Dodge Dart, until i heard a weird sound when i dropped something. 75 mint condition rear windshields from the 30's to about early 60's stacked on top of each and laying across my path inches under the dirt. So, if anyone knows someone who may need a '37 Master Delux front end including grill and hood or ornament or a hub cap, or 1920 Cadillac Tire Hub cover, or something for their man cave.....
I have the same amp 1 ohm version running a avatar svl 1547d2 at 1ohm. It freaking jars and I'm not even tickling that subwoofer. This is an awesome amp though.
Dude you’re the best , my volume button wouldn’t work and for weeks I’ve been trying to just tap it and hope for the best , I finally gave up hope and was about to rip it out and buy another . But RU-vid had my back !!! And YOU of course !! Thanks brother
Update: the volume (touch screen part) does not respond from the apple play pandora screen.. however I found that if your using apple play and have pandora playin you can hit the home button and then do the circulator motion on the screen to adjust volume
