I have been living and birding in Goa since 1998. in 2010, I started filming birds all over India. My aim is to publish films about Indian birds, birding sites and bird conservation issues. Some of my films are designed to help people to plan a birding trip.
I use Sony nex vg10 video camera with 50-500 Sigma lens and x2 teleconverter. Since September 2021 i use Panasonic Lumix GH5 mark 2 with 400mm lens.
I visited Ladakh in September this year. Hanle and Tso-Kar are great locations, although the reality of the latter differs from what you can read on the internet. The lake is shrinking, so does the quantity and quantity of the birds. One point, I have a slightly different opinion, is regarding „every visitor shall spend a few days upon arrival of complete rest, in order to adjust to the high altitude“. It might be related to age, but at my end (58) upon arrival and pick up at the airport, we went birding in the afternoon. Thanks for putting that video together!

Thank you for doing such a wonderful video recording the rich biodiversity of different birds .will our politicians watch this and change their plans to have these voiceless bird but commute through their melodious music .

Amazing number of birds around here. What a splendid secluded spot. I have been to Corbett NP and stayed inside it, but never knew about Vanghat at that time. Thanks for your clean narration and video shoots.
Wow I was waiting for the Corbett videos to begin once I saw the first Uttarakhand video, I was there for only 3 days but the diversity in birdlife was an unbelievable sight to behold! Amazing work once again sir.

At @5:50 the Bird is Greater White-fronted Goose and not a Greylag Goose. A rare passage migrant to Ladakh and a great Record of the species in Ladakh. 🎉👍🏻
@@mrdavidstanton it's great that it is a Lifer for you. I knew about this location at Nyoma. The bird is still there at the same place. The latest sighting was on 3rd September, 2024 when I saw it.
