I liked how the story really respected your intelligence and implored you to think of how it made you feel. This game is up there with the best in encouraging you to engage with tone and impression rather than rote textual reading, and it left a lasting impression on me. It has served as a minor inspiration.
Grand Order writer's:Hey you know how we completely f up her introduction in agartha yea let's completely undo that and have one of the best interludes in the whole game does that sound good to everyone?
This is actually the worst event they've done. Nothing makes sense, plot twist just for the sake of doing it. Had to rewatch it just to be sure i wasn't on LSD or something
Very mid event. Poor story sequencing aside, there was a serious missed opportunity with Tametomo's boss fight. Like, they could at least engineer it to where he's aimed his NP at the Storm Border again and you have to defeat the boss before he releases it or it's an automatic defeat for the player. But no, they went with boring stuff for the main fight.
CQ mechanics for anyone watching: Hokusai: - Immune to debuffs and will inflict Arts Resist Down when she attacks - On first Break, she gains an unremovable Evade (3 hits/5 turns) and also puts a stack of Arts Resist Down on each of your party members - On second Break, she gains full NP charge and will now inflict 2 stacks of Arts Resist Down with each attack for the next 5 turns Bakin: - Inflicts Quick Resist Down when she attacks, and adds a stack on each of your frontline Servants on first Break - Starts with an unremovable Evade (4 hits/5 turns). You can wear this down by attacking Bakin, or bypass it with Sure Hit. - On second Break, she drains 30 crit stars from the party and removes one defensive buff from a random Servant. Additionally, her attacks over the next 5 turns will now each deal 2 stacks of Quick Resist Down. When your active party reaches 7+ stacks of either Arts Resist Down or Quick Resist Down, those stacks will be cashed in and your entire party is Charmed for 1 turn. This takes effect the next time the enemy team gains a turn while your party has enough of either of the aforementioned stacks. To counter this, either attack with the afflicted Servants (each attack removes 1 stack) or bring debuff removal. As long as you keep these debuffs in check, this CQ is fairly easy.
These last few events have been poor in terms of story. All this could've been narrated in less than an hour. Really lackluster, if they gonna tell this poor excuse of a story just focus more on the gameplay and minimise the story length SMH.
These old man betrayals are getting out of hands, they don't even look old nor manly anymore. What's next ? An enemy who pretends to be an ally ? And he's famous for betraying people, no less ?
there were so many references... as a history fan i enjoyed and learned a lot because i didn't get them all at first. But anyway, the bidets thing is also a joke/reference from fate/hollow ataraxia scene, Rin and Saber also reacted like Kagetora here 4:26:10
Achilles' speech at the end is one of the most idiotic things I ever read in my life. Does someone really thinks it was good, to reduce a person to a single feature of her? To see people as two dimensional like that? After witnessing what a deep wound he left on her, all this shallow, unapologetic moron can think about is still her appearance? Achilles only cares about his own opinion of people. He doesn't understand, or even try to understand the bonds that can be formed between people. The same for Paris. He only worries about his own opinion of the boy and his own death, completely underselling the troian's prince feelings of retribution and anger towards him l. He only ever trampled on people either with as he fought or as he spoke to them, like everyone's as secondary character to his "legend"
Once more, thanks for uploading this. Real life prevents me from having the time to do this event so it's great to know there's a place where I can at least check out the cutscenes.
If you're wondering where the Lostbelt 6: Avalon Le Fae Major Story Battles are... My back-up hard drive that held about 3 years worth of FGO footage died and I couldn't pull anything off it. That's what I get for procrastinating 😥
