Chris, nice video, man. Generally, what all has to be removed when removing the subframe? There are 4 main bolts it looks like. Then you disconnected the staring shaft or something like that??
Hello i just watched your video and i did chain and vvt on my cx7 the engine ran for a minute then stalled and does not want to start just tried to start 2nd time for a second but my concern is that i didnt align the new vvt sprocket at the old position, i am afraid that i bent valves as on the 1st start i did rev it till 3 then it stalled i dont know now if the new vvt has something to do for its position
@@evoospeed doesn’t matter where the sprockets are on the cam as long as you aligned the cam and crank correctly with the timing tool. Also check your crank sensor on the front of the timing cover
@@jonathantorrez4198 it seemed better as you didn’t have to use so much power to get it moving. I didn’t do any actual figures this was just observing. I broke the rear frame and got rid of the truck. Replaced it with a 2016

Beautiful car, Impressive numbers.. Does this allow the tpi 5.0 and 5.7 to make more hp at a higher rpm? Still have the graph? This is what I am on the fence about, buying a cherry third gen and swapping a ls in it, or going procharged.
Thanks, this is an older video. i have the graph some where. it doesn't make more power at high RPM intake is still limiting. i pulled this motor about 5 years ago and swapped in a 6.0 LQ9 LS motor with a hot cam. i wish i did that sooner :)
if you're referring to the intercooler. the stock will fit, but you won't be able to run as much boost as the stock one will not keep the air temps down.
hey, it's me again I replaced the color overlay for my CAV-875 and that was a fun little project but what LEDs did you use for the EQ-890? both of mine keep burning out any LEDs I put in them
I replaced all the bulbs to LED’s in my CAV-875 as well. You need to use a current limiting resistor to prevent burn out. I used the 12v warm leds from parts express 070-134 go to www.goby-hour.com/electronics/ledcalc.php you can enter the voltage, etc and it will tell you the current limit resistor ohms
Imagine playing Nintendo or Sega on this wonderful system. All it needs is a period correct Fisher direct drive linear tracking turntable and, perhaps, a Fisher DVD player. Of course, the DVD player won't be period correct, but Fisher did sell some DVD players. Now if only Fisher sold a LaserDisc player...

Who made the TV and VCR? (Fisher did not make video devices.) Perhaps RCA? They had a similar mega home system in the mid 80s as well called the Dimensia. It flopped too!
I lived through that time and I know a lot of classic audio and video equipment from the 70s and 80s and, despite knowing the Fisher brand, I didn't know about the existence of this wonderful AV set. What an incredible piece of equipment! This is a jewel and is in an incredible state of conservation. This set is simply surreal and I believe the rack is made of solid wood, which makes it even more valuable. Keep preserving it with great care, friend. If you allow me some advice, I would tell you to never get rid of it.
In 1986, I worked the entire summer to get $700. ALL of it was spent on a Fisher stereo system for my bedroom. Absolutely loved it and wish I still had it today.

i did not, i ended up having safelite do it as it is a glue in not gasketed. of course they don't use the GM trim gasket. i had to fix a tiny bit of rust as well
Miss the full size conversion vans my first vehicle was a Dodge tradesman 200 van . My parents had 3 conversion vans last one was a raised roof. That really low miles wow.
