Got a job from fab 9, it’s much shorter and had to remove the clock spring. DSC light has been on now. Just ordered the same hub you have as it looks to allow clock spring to stay and I’m thinking this is the issue with the DSC light. Also, when using left turn signal, after completing turn signal stays on. When turning right, it resets signal. Very bothersome.
I would recommend using a drill with a long phillips adapter. It takes a while for it to finally start moving up or down. And I believe right makes them go up
Was the o-ring and washer kit separate from the replacement pump? My power steering started leaking after the car sat while I was waiting for a new map sensor. I’m thinking the o-ring might’ve dried out causing the new leak. My car is low miles 65k but it is a 2007 so it would seem possible that the o-ring is just tired.
I just had to unplug the low pressure line to get to something and now it whines and I can't get it to bleed out after several lock to lock attempts....
I changed the pump because my old one was making a whining noise. It was an indication that the pump was going out, so I decided to change it before it got worse
@@off_road_all_day How many miles do you have on your NC1?? My PS is getting heavy after longer drives! I am taking it to my mechanic today to see what he has to say.
@@off_road_all_day Very Nice... I am at 106k and have owned it since 100k.... Since then The only thing that has had to be replaced was the VC gasket and the clutch throwout bearing.... Also, I had to replace the ignition coil pigtails! While I was there I did the Rear Main Seal, full excedy OE clutch kit, and all the fun stuff that goes along with that... All in all its been a great little car and I can't wait to fix my PS system problem and enjoy it!
just wanna say, after my car being broken for 2 weeks, this got my miata working again. Turned out the issue was that damn o-ring from the piece connecting the hose to the pump
That would be the wires and fusses to complete the circuit. Basically, those wires and fuses are telling the computer that there is an airbag present, and will keep the light on the dash off.
I noticed noise when engine is hot. Put car on jacks, turn wheels, engine cold or hot, no noise !!?? I flushed fluid that did not fixe noise... Is it pump or belt ?
Get a long screwdriver, place it on possible parts that could be making the noise, put the other end of the screwdriver on your ear, and that’ll help narrow where the noise is coming from

And for the brakes, make sure your brake trim is all the way, but that’s all you get out of that truck
@@off_road_all_day Sorry for the late reply, totally overlooked your reply. That said, I figured out why my brakes are so "weak"... I only have 50% braking power enabled in the ESC. That is the default. Thanks.
