This is a scandal and a shame on Microsoft that I had to fight with such ridiculous issue on computer which I do not have the admin rights on at 10pm! If I start my phone, Android, it is connected in millisecond. All my other devices are connected to my wifi without issues, just Windows 10 on Microsoft surface does not. And again and again and again....This is my wife's work computer and I cannot help her. Shame on you, MS!!!

For those of you when you restart your pc and it turns back on, go to where you turn on real time protection and scroll down a little and turn off Tamper Protection. Change the registry again and it will stay disabled.

Should the PIN be unavailable upon restarting, you will have the option to log in using your Microsoft email password. Once logged in, simply proceed to rectify the startup issue.
