Hello everyone! My Name is James, and I'm a watercolour artist from the UK. I started my RU-vid channel to teach the skills I've learned and share my experiences as an artist to encourage and motivate others that enjoy being creative.
I have been using Arches for the first time, a rough paper and I really like it, then I got Hanemule, which I’ve used before, but it’s not rough, it’s not very smooth either but it’s whatever size you’d call twice A4…I want a thick a dark wash for the art I’m doing lately and anytime I try with this Hanemule I just get streaks, I’ve done this with 5 sheets now, I have a thick makeup style brush and it sucks up all the paint, I don’t know what brush to use for larger paper, what do you reckon?
sunt buni banii de la soros, nu-i asa? distrugeti Romania intelectuali vanduti ce sunteti; dar eu cred ca exista Dumnezeu si daca exista, atunci veti ajunge la celalalt, de acolo din gaura din care v-ati tarat
I have also added a small amount of black ink mixed into the masking fluid with no staining ( I am in a very dry environment, so I don't know if that helps it to not stain)
I am actively mad art classes in elementary school when I was a kid never taught me how watercolors and swatches work at all, just left us to our own devices for 30 minutes. The way you teach it here is so straightforward and easy to grasp.
