Great interview. Great job Easton. Obviously, Daniel is an amazing talent but at the end of the day you can see he's just a very goal oriented teenager with faith in Christ and a good example for others. Happy to hear he has committed to BYU. I think he will grow with the team and Coach Eyestone will put provide him with all the tools to grow in the sport. I assume he will serve a mission so it will be fun to watch him run in a few years at the college level.
NOOO WAYYY EASTON!!! Iv'e waited to longg, you're videos are so good!! You inspired me to start my old teams channel years ago!!! ru-vid.com/show-UCRzqCjI76NKAA_5XioCmVBAvideos
You were great on the track and you were great off the track and still are. Good luck in your future endeavors. Even though you didn’t make videos that long, they were still inspiring and I thank you for that.
Where did you get this procedure done? I’ve been having IT band issues in both my knees for the past 4 years. I desperately need to do something like this… also, how’re you feeling now?
Definitely a lot of fun all the shoes/equipment and the community and competition. apps can make it fun too I love Nike Run Club makes it feel like a video game where you gain experience and level up every run
Man I really wanna be able to make the cross country team when I get into BYU. Right now, I run a 20:06 5k. And I saw that the time i nees is 15 minutes, so I've been training pretty hard. Because I love running, i love cross country! It makes me feel good. I'd love to do it more for collage. Ever since middle school I loved running. I loved doing "beep beeps" where you run back and forth in the gym. The fitness gram pacer test. Everybody hated it, but I loved running and doing it. The mile runs sucked for me. I hated it, I wantes to get faster. I'd get 8 minutes. Progressed to 7 something. And then, i decided I wanted to run more outside of school, so I did a 5k race event. Then the day before my mile run, I ran a mile. Race day I got 6:45, my best time. I was stoked! Since that I decided to do more races, 5k's, spartan, tough muders. Sophmore year I agreed to do a half marathon with no hesitation, when my friend asked me. It was my first, and I got under 2 hours. 9 minute flats. But when I joined highschool 2020. It was a crazy year, things were diffrent. But i knew i liked running, so I did it. Sometimes i hate it. But i love running so much and I'm glad I chose it. Aanyways... Tmi
This is a wonderful video. I ran in college and it was my identity in many ways, everything else centered around it. Fast forward to 30s and kids, I'm re-learning how to trust my body to go the distance. It's magical. I hope my kiddos are into it one day. :)
Hi Easton! I’m also runner and am experiencing very similar problems with my IT band. I haven’t been able to run consistently in 4 months, despite PT, constant stretching, icing, etc. I am now considering this surgery for myself but I am not very informed about the specifics. How long did it take to recover? Did you feel 100% better after recovering from the surgery? What are your limitations directly after the surgery? Sorry for the long paragraph. Thank you!
During my xc season my hamstring started to hurt, and I didn’t think much about it because I was 14 and never really thought about injury. So it became worse after months until my state championship race. I pushed myself insanely hard and knocked off almost 30 seconds of my best time but I could barely walk the next day because of my hamstring. I’ve been in physical Therapy for 2 months now and the pain is feeling a lot better. So make sure if you feel any sign of pain, don’t be scared to see a doctor or take a break from physical activity
