I had mistakenly forgot to change the settings in terms of the length of the quarter, which is why this video/epiosde is short. But College Football is back, and EA has done their job right with this one.
13:27 Lex Luthor : Look, buddy! We didn't whip up all the hoopla about Krypton if we thought you would come back! Superman : Krypton? You sent me there? Lex Luthor : You can't go back home. And pretty soon, you won't be able to live here, either! There's no place for you anymore, Superman! Now *fly*!
6:21 Superman : [after winning a fight against Metallo] Surrender now, Metallo! Metallo : There's something I need to get off my chest. [Ignites something from his chest; Superman falls down] Superman : [Weakened] Kryptonite!
The concept of the Battle of the Billionaires matchup heading into WrestleMania 23 was a rather interesting one. Before the idea was finalized to have Bobby Lashley and Umaga go at it, there were three other ideas that went around as to who would be involved: 1. Shawn Michaels vs. Booker T 2. Rey Mysterio vs. Umaga 3. Hulk Hogan vs. Big Show The injuries to Triple H and Rey Mysterio, as well as Big Show getting hurt and eventually leaving WWE a couple months later, shifted the plans as to who would represent Donald Trump and Vince McMahon in the highly anticipated matchup at WrestleMania that year. Bobby Lashley was originally planned to defend the ECW Championship against The Great Khali at WrestleMania 23, but the aforementioned circumstances led to him and Umaga squaring off at WrestleMania.
If there are audio issues with this video and the one featuring Storm, my apologies. Ik what the problem was, and it was fixed. But all in all, X-Men: Next Dimension is a game that gets too much hate. The story mode is the biggest negative I have regarding this game, considering its short length. But the gameplay makes up for it, and quite arguably, it holds up in today’s standards. I’ve read the various comments I’ve received in regards to this game, and I agree, I wish there was a remake or remastered version of this game, but considering the troubled relationship between Marvel and Activision, it’s likely never going to happen, but never say never.
Go to Options, then select Gameplay. And head to the tab that says Presentation, and there’s a few selections on what camera angles you can use. 2K added this feature to help out content creators. 💯
I firmly believe there is a timeline where this match could have happened in the late '90s. WM20 in 2004 though? I don't know if Bret would've stayed in WWE that long.
The story is that Angle revealed some years ago Vince McMahon had planned on bringing Bret Hart back to WWE in late 2003 or early 2004 to set up a storyline between Hart and Angle leading up to WrestleMania XX. However, the plans were changed because Bret’s health was a big question mark due to him suffering from a stroke in the summer of 2002, as well as the fact Bret still had hard feelings towards both Vince and Shawn Michaels for the Montreal Screwjob. Bret was also planned to be be involved at WrestleMania 22 against Vince in a revenge match, but that was scrapped also because of the same aforementioned reasons.
