Extremely late to the party here but using pewter gives the same effect and a waaaaaaaay lower melting point.

Why don't you have an RPM gauge on both sides? I have 2 Husqvarna 288xp did you guys just drill and make your own bar?

What kind of chain are you running to get those nice chips off the saw? I run 10-degree milling chain, but I get very fine chips (almost like sawdust) from mine. This occurs even when my chain is sharp. Thanks!

cool video/music. As lumber prices soar, and "free wood" abounds, this is an exciting idea.

was wondering if this would be more successful using low temperature solder rods melted and poured. Bright enough when freshly sanded and polished and should stay so when sealed in. Bit pricey though, but does not need to go full depth as filler could be used to bring level up

Very nice, one suggestion. When working with metal, both in the heat, pouring, and sanding? Respirator! That stuff is hell on your body and brain. Turned out really nice, thanks for filming

Best small displacement saw I ever run I own 2 Stihl 200ts this saw is beyond lightweight would you give you a much higher power to weight ratio? The 200 treaties very balanced. More power but it's got three more pounds. This saw has a purpose and how you recommend it to add this tool to your arsenal

Hi buddy. I consider buying a top 80, but I am afraid that it is not enough powerful for my weight (80kg, ~180 lbs), since I live in the mountains at ~1000m (3000 ft). What do you think about it ?

Mr. Blaise Brogan, do you have any feedback for me, with regards to your Top 80? I just got me a used one with less than 50hrs on it, in almost pristine condition too! I've been waiting for YEARS to get out there and do this!! So if you see some dude up there with more teeth than face, that'll be me!!! LOL

*Coming up on having had this saw for a year....am a casual user and bought it to cut up sections for bowl blanks. Easy to start, **Bestfor.Garden** also recommend even after storage for a couple of months. Simple chain tension adjustment. Just cut up some 20" Osage Orange, including ripping bolts in half (at an angle). Like butter!*
