A word of advice if you care: reinforce the rear bench rest with some stainless or aluminum. The mounting cutouts will wear out eventually ( i’ve experienced the problem with mine). I went to the old factory in goes (zeeland) and they advised me this because it’s a reoccurring problem for the 485 type with the reinforced front deck ( you can tell them apart on the railings the old type has polyester rail endings and the later ones have aluminum rail endings)
I am refitting my beekman alfa 520 's interior right now, the amount of work that goes into these restaurations is insane but it is extremely satisfying once you see the results...o yeah, I freaking hate sanding , it seems to come to no end once you start doing it...:)...nice boat mate,beekmans are build like a tank and extremely sturdy... enjoy!
Thank you! The topspeed is depends on the weight of the boat. How more people are on the boat how slower it goes. But on your one arround 50 km/h. The boat goes nicely in plane, and 60 HP is definitly recommended. I hope I answered your question and good luck on your renovating!
