Good review, but you missed a step in transformation. The gray pieces next to his cockpit rotate forward (in unison) to form an extra gray piece for the front of his crotch. I love this figure. I got him at a yard sale years ago and I’m so happy to have him. 😊
@AS42100 good to know actually! This is part of why I stopped trying to meet an upload schedule all the time, I missed so many steps in figures like this because I had only messed with them for like 15 minutes, no instructions and then tried to shove out a video. Lol
@TyphonMar agreed. Some material issues and flaky chrome aside, I have so much love for this era of Transformers. The Vehicons especially are some of the coolest designs ever, IMO.
Hi. It looks like the console has a Music player. Does the music player have a User EQ where you can set the different Hz levels, or are there only locked EQ settings like Classical/Bass/Jazz etc? I've used a music&video player from China for 10 years (it was called a Uniscom T656) and this year it has broken, so I'm looking for a replacement; it had a User EQ and it was perfect for music - I miss it so much already. From your video, I think the same software/hardware was utilised for these newer handheld consoles (a lot of those menus look identical), but I don't know whether they kept the music player the same - in terms of EQ options I mean.
As I said in my pinned comment, I don't own this anymore, but as best as I can recall, it didn't have any real EQ in it and just kinda.... gave you what it gave you. This is also pretty old at this stage and has likely had an improved replacement made by now, so that may be something they do. Honestly though, I wouldn't recommend this thing at all with how much better these emulator machines are nowdays.
@@ArcNeoMasato Ok thanks man. Just came across a video for the X12 Plus where the User EQ is shown, quite excited, so maybe indeed it's just a case of picking one of the newer models.
@@RiteKnight i honestly don't know if you could even find this one anymore, but something I wasn't able to put in this video was that over the time I owned this, it became steadily less and less reliable. Lots of random freezes or failed boots.
For the butterfly shoulders; I have a 2018 Shadow Ranger, 2020 ranger slayer, 2016 Deadpool, and 2018 Omega Red with those shoulders. I know the rangers aren't Marvel but they are still made by Hasbro. The Deadpool could be a Spider-Man but Omega Red is much beefier and I was surprised to see it on the Ranger Slayer since she's so small and it's not that prominent, although she is an archer and they allow you to actually pose her shooting the bow.
Yeah, it's a more common joint than I was thinking of. I actually made this video while I had just ALL of my Marvel Symbiote figures on my desk, while most of my other figures are out in storage. Still not used as much as it deserves to be, but not exactly "rare".
@@ArcNeoMasato Yeah it really should be used more. And I don't know anything about figures at all, I only have a few, so I saw these and just got a bit excited like, "Oh! I found different molds! I'll let you know."
@@iris1193 lol It's all good. Figures like this are a deeper rabbit hole than some might think. I'm sure down the road I'll end up making another video with even stranger old joint types or priorities. I'm always glad when someone pops into my comments and lets me know about something I likely don't know about yet.
The last figure is from the Marvel Legends Icons series. There was also a variant with an Eddie Brock head. I don’t believe he was an exclusive. I purchased both versions during original release from Amazon back in the day.
@@venomunleashed9661 fair. The listing I found him under on Ebay called him an SDCC figure, so idk if he was truly "exclusive" or maybe just one of those "sold there first" things, or maybe that's just where the old owner bought him/thought sounded good in the item description. Lol
The first figure shown is from the Spider-Man Origins series. There’s two different versions. One is a Variant in a two pack with Spider-Man. The mold is actually older originally released by Toy Biz as a part of the Spider-Man “Classics” line that came with a special Symbiote base and a small container of green slime.
So..... I'm now much less sure if it's legit or not, as I guess I have one tell of a KO where my lower torso spider is painted a little low, but not AS low as a true known figure copy? And again, the card checks out 99%, but I guess there's a dot pattern that's on KOs, while having all the extra print apps that KO's miss, and things lined up correctly. I'm honestly more curious than anything, as for $30 shipped, I'm still VERY happy with this figure. Edit 1: so in a strange turn of things, I was recommended another video to check for more tips on finding a KO, and after talking to that person, they also lean on it most likely being real. Again, I don't "care" either way, but I am deeply curious!
it's a bootleg (i think). watch Stillfigurineout's video on this figure 1. venom logo goes down too far 2. the packaging has a dotted texture that you can see in your video at exactly 2:51 not all of the bootleg differences mentioned in Stillfigurineout's video is on your figure which gives us a vague answer anyway it's nice to hear the joy in your voice when you opened up this figure nice video nonetheless, you deserve my sub
Weird. I mean either way, the quality is so good, that I can easily write this off as it being just a factory reject more than a full KO (cause these joints are damn legit), so I'm not too fussed, and it's not like I'll be selling this figure to where it matters for someone else. lol I do find it weird though how much of an improved KO this is compared to what he has, the aside from texture, everything else on the box checked out for being legit compared to the ones SFO's video had. (And heck, despite the low print, the paint overall is nicer than his official. lol) I also took off the face and my head isn't hollow, and the hand pegs check out as well, even in texture as well as shape. So if this is a true fake, it's a damn good one, but I'm honestly expecting factory reject, cause even my low logo isn't as low as what he shows. (Long comment cause I'm legit interested in finding out one way or another.
Arent sometimes the knock offs just rejected prototypes or figures that failed inspection or something like that? Also do you have the link for it? Ive been wanting a black suit spidey for the collection
That 100% happens, or sometimes on eBay, you'll find listings for "damaged packaging" where the factory machines just goofed on making the card or something. Sadly the listing I bought from has ended or I would, and I don't want to link you another in case I'm wrong, but there are a LOT of listings for this figure. My main tips are A, look for a lot of sails and high feedback ratings (people WILL mark down KO sellers) and B, look for reasonable prices. if they're selling for $10, probably fake, but this one was $30 after shipping, so about what he'd cost in store.
I love this Starscream, and think it is like a "new G1" styled figure. I mean it is like the G! Screamer but without the worry of losing parts. I also want Regeneration Screamer as well, but I am not paying for Bumblebee... I so do not want nor care about Bee. So I believe Regen Screamer will be out of my reach.
Honestly, I bought that pack and.... I ended up liking that Bumblebee despite the fact I openly hate Bee at this stage. For a carformer, he does a LOT of different stuff that's actually kinda cool. And if nothing else, he's pretty easy to sell off, as he's in high demand on his own too. lol
I Have this figure as well... And LOVE it! It is kinda like a G1 Screamer but easier as you really cannot lose anything... I really want the Gamer Edition Screamer, but I really do not want Bumblebee... And shelling out $60 bucks or so for just Screamer, I'm not feeling it.
Right? Like, as a TF collector, I'm used to repaints, but this has got to be somehow the laziest, as all the things that would make it Starscream..... are missing, they just took a Blitzwing figure from the BB movie and made parts blue.
1:34 You got the later variant. Wish I had found one at the time, but they never showed up. Yours has the sculpted "grill" lattice details on the front, sides, and hood of the vehicle.
Hey man! I was wondering I could use footage from your videos on the beast wars and armada mcdonalds toys? I'm making a video chronicling all of the transformers mcdonalds toys, any footage in the video will be credited and linked in the description, as well as your channel being linked in a pinned comment
I have both of these first sets - they're SO damn useful. Ref the Green tokens you mentioned as being usable as "inspiration tokens" - I believe they are meant to signify "Allies" as opposed to just "any old NPC". The image is a set of clasped hands / shaking hands. :)
This version of Steamhammer was my first transformers toy. This got me crazy nostalgic. I never got the limb guys, but the idea of him being able to combine with other robots blew my tiny little mind!😂
This is such a useful review, it really helps seeing the tokens up close like this with a good explanation of what everything is. Thanks for uploading!
Honestly I felt like I rambled a lot, but part of that is I'm a "possibilities guy", so every time I start messing with these tokens, my brain starts going through all the different ways I can use them, almost against my own will. lol
"This is Contra. I have too many lives, and a big spread" My heart bleeds, you have it so hard. Try playing original arcade, in the arcade, like I did in the 90's. Millennials! 🤣
I got Manta Ray for a few bucks at an estate sale. She scales well with GI Joe due to how short she is. Paint slightly scuffed and no file card, though.
Quote the bad toy: “Ṟ̸̡̖̜̲̿è̸̛͓̞̌̆v̶͙̱̳͑͠i̶̤͕͠ȇ̷̢̨̼̮̟͊̀̔w̵͔̥̪͙̐̓̾̅͆ M̸̨̗̗͖̾͜͝ỏ̷͈̚r̷̡̧̤̮̠̊ȩ̴͍̼̈!” Yeah, I was just testing out the Zalgo text generator. I have this monstrosity in my old toy box BTW.
pink assassin - basic name but I like it, I feel like HasTak can get away with a fembot that is named just "pink assassin" windsaber - this is a name i don't like. Just sounds KO-ie. like a chinese knockoff or something.
Honestly, Iron Factory has a history of names like that, so I'm probably numb to it. As well as, I usually just call any third party figures by the actual character name, I only use the product name when I'm telling someone what to search to find them.
🤩🎬GREAT VIDEO🎬🤩 I’m glad I found your channel I look forward to seeing more of your videos📺 I do mostly TRANSFORMER Stop Motion 🎬📸🎞️ I hope you enjoy my animation‼️ 14:58
