Beside of all comments I want to point out how BEAUTIFUL a "slow" Sabaton song is. Another example: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fNkFdOaHBjw.html I would love to hear more of the "fast"songs in a slow way. The Sabaton Sound itself is always GREAT no matter how it is played...
I'm from Poland andi'm really Proud the Sabaton start play those great sont on live. Of course this song is controversial, but tells the real sad story about WW2. God bless you all Metalheads!
Fire and this song are linked in my soul. The remains that fed the ovens and then even the records burned in an attempt to hide the Final Solution as an evil systematic removal of human rights and freedoms from not Hitler.
This is one Sabaton song I have problems listening to because of how it affects me. If my great grandparents hadn't emigrated to America when they did... A classmate of mine in religious school's father was a survivor. I know all of the reasons I would have been killed in the camps, as I have multiple strikes against me. This is probably the best way for them to perform that song, because the emotions hit even harder. Thanks for sharing this.
Damn I got chills as soon as the intro began and when Joakim started singing. This is such a beautiful version of in my opinion, the saddest song they’ve ever written.
I heard somewhere that Joakim said he always tear up whenever they play this song. They were all walks of life. Man, woman, or child. Young or old. Rich or poor. Strong or weak. They were all children of God. They are all heroes to him.
Bankers who finance countries war machine and charge interest to bankrupt them for control and get richer. All wars are intentionally started by changing property lines and propaganda. The other is not human.
My mother (65y) doesnt like sabaton and other metal cause they always yell at their songs.. ok i will sent this to her 😎 Guess who is gonna have the last laugh 😁
Nice and respectfull way of playing this song, which wails the holocaust. Sabaton is clearly pro western, jewish christian, civilization. The band celebrates Israeli fighters ("Counterstrike"), criticizes strongly islamic terrorists ("in the name of God") calls nazism as "evil" ("Rise of evil") and deplores nazi atrocities in many songs, including this one. It is a great band.
Sabaton do not take any political stand point. They just write songs about history. They are honoring a lot of historical heroes and evils from all sides of a lot of wars. I would have to disagree with you there.
go any softer on the next album and they'll become a pop rock band. I love Sabatons older albums though cuz Carolus Rex is my favorite. some of the songs in The Last Stand is good too but some are not classed as Heavy/Power Metal anymore
People don't understand the people cheering were the victims. Finally someone acknowledged what they went through. Being left behind Communist rule was the second greatest atrocity to mankind.
