KISS Destroyer and Love Gun tours were their best. A wall of sound and theatrics were pure magic. Was right in front. Those flames almost melted our faces 😅 😅😅
The Reunion tour was in-truth the pinnacle of KISS fandom in the late 90s and Ace was the cache' player. After Ace and later Peter left the band in the early 00s the band became a corporate brand shill.
When i was a child I fixed my grandmas porch And she. Bought me Kiss Alive 1 Went and seen them Detroit's Cobo Arena started playing guitar Cause of Ace 🤘🤘
Saw KISS at the Montreal Forum April 21, 1976 and it was the best KISS concert I ever saw. Can’t beat the original four! I was 15 years old and I’m 64 now!
One of aces favorite songs,. He's not very comfortable singing he's songs back in the Day.. but when they got back together the second time he was okay with it.. kiss just not kiss without the original spaceman, or original catman
P.s. Ace's voice in this cut is one for the ages! Although [it] is unconventional, Ace Frehley should "NEVER" feel as though he didn't measure up, vocally! I love his unique and organic vocals.
They were a good pop band. Musically a bit one-dimensional, imo. Which is why I was never a big fan. But different strokes for different folks. Kiss was also about the show, so for that they were groundbreaking.
As a rock band … they was a 7.5 , outta 10 , but as a show , they was 11 back in the 75-destroyer , then they got to , teeny bopper , and their was lots better shows , JP, and many other great bands , back then , and the guitarist, got way better too !
They were never again as good as they were during the Reunion Tour in 96/97. Last time i saw them was in 2017 and although the show was for sure worth the money, the feeling isn't the same without Ace and Peter. Almost a bit sterile.
