Hamas were elected through democracy... Meanwhile, in Israel only those identifying a certain way can vote, those of particular ethnicities or religions can not. Bibi has changed laws to avoid getting voted out, removed judicial independence to avoid being jailed for his corruption, faced almost 2 years of mainstream protests and is now putting off elections until he can manage to get rid of the idea in Palestinians that they might want to have some self determination.. Which one is the democracy?
Isreal’s retaliation has gone beyond measure. Thousands of Children and Women had to pay with their lives for these atrocities committed by Hamas. The democratic state can do better.
Both sides are engaged in terrorist acts against innocent people and it's disgusting that the misery and suffering of innocent children has been reduced to nothing more than political point scoring.
This is a religious war, the Muslims against the Jews. This is the first time in history that a nation is created (Palestinian) as a result of hatred (for Jews) And not from the desire for freedom
