Whenever i hear the synchronization soudntrack for Wessex I always want to cry... I dunno why but I'm glad each region had its own theme.... But fhe Wessex hits hard
The only thing I have against these games and its happened the past three three besides the new one is the supernatural element after awhile. Gods/demons I can do without. Talking to ancestors or whatever ok fine but I don’t need to fight Anubis or Hades or Loki I like it simple your character just a bad ass nothing more .
so... canonically... Havi didn't have a longship crew in Svartalfheim and it's just Eivor's crew, that she just magically called into Odin's simulated memories.
The first batch of AC games were just OK, then Black Flag came along and renewed my interest in the franchise, I mean come on...pirate era is always a win. And then Odyssey came and blew me away completely. Easily one of the greatest games of all time, let alone the greatest AC game. Jaw droppingly gorgeous and highly detailed scenery, smooth gameplay, interesting characters (LOVE Kassandra!!) Odyssey is one of those rare games I simply cant stop playing. And then I was so excited to play Valhalla, and was massively disappointed. Gameplay nowhere near as smooth as Odyssey, and the characters didnt grab my attention at all. What I really wish they would do next is make an Odyssey sequel, or remaster Black Flag.
No where near the greatest ac game. You don’t even play as a assassin man. It’s a great game but not a great assassins creed & that’s just the truth. Nothing about the game other then the tied in lore makes you feel like an assassin & a game named assassins creed it should be imperative you feel like a assassin right ..? Imo all the og ac creed games are far superior in the fact that they make you feel like a assassin whilst also being true to the time period black flag did this pretty well too Out of the rpg titles tho personally I like origins, Valhalla & then odyssey (I think these 3 titles are interesting games but outside of origins fail to really bring that assassin feel)
This was the only thing I disliked about the crossover, Kassandra would not have fought to a draw. She is/was the superior fighter and has been fighting a lot longer than Evior.
I'm really not a fan of the creed so I played ac games only when the age was attractive to me. Black flag and Valhalla are stunning games and the music of this game it's beautiful, I'm gonna miss Valhalla😔
Man did i enjoy this game. played it after Elden Ring expecting to hate it as i hate everything Ubisoft but ended up loving it. Its not perfect and the stories and characters felt disjointed but the ride throughout was fun and exploration top notch.
