Hey, I have a question that maybe you can make a video on or just answer in the comments if you can.. A few months ago I got a colposcopy after having an abnormal pap and it showed CIN 2. I had my LEEP done and now it's showing CIN 3. My endocervical margin was clear but my ectocervical margin was not clear. I was given 2 options, the first was to monitor it by getting a pap in 4-6 months, if it was abnormal I would get colposcopy and then another LEEP if needed. My other option was a hysterectomy, leaving my ovaries. I told my doctor I wasn't planning on having kids and he said he would 100% recommend the hysterectomy but I'm not sure if he's jumping the gun or not. I'm scared about getting cancer but also scared about a major surgery if there's a good chance it will go away. Does this advice from my doctor sound right? Would you advise the same thing?
So glad I nolonger have to worry about such things, thanks to my wonderful Gyn Oncologist, Dr. Elise. I owe her my life and my recurrence risk is only 3-4%!
This was really helpful. My wife is pregnant and RH negative and her obgyn recommended the shot but I wanted to hold off and look into it first. You guys answered a lot of my questions. It’s really upsetting that this doesn’t have more views. Will definitely share.
Thank you for this highly informative episode. How does one find a vNotes surgeon in the United States? The vNotes website doesn't seem to feature all the surgeons out there that perform the surgery.
