Very cool! Thanks for being so real and normal in front of the camera and not trying to hype or act any kind of way about the place. Thanks for showing us a real slice of life!
Hello Natalie, the henna looks really good on your hands. In Pakistan, we apply henna in a similar way with a slight difference that when we apply henna, we create flowers in the middle and extend it to the fingers in various lines
Hey hope you're well too! 😄 I actually made them not public because I wanted to focus my channel on travel, but if you liked them and prefer I keep them public, I can switch it :)
Hi Natalie, thanks for sharing this video. My wife always say let's get back to Senegal. So nice to see our office in the video. Dakar St. Louis Theis. It's awesome.
Thanks so much Haroon, it's nice to hear from you! It was really nice being back and going to the office, brings back so many memories! Hope you're well
No they're very different! I guess the similarity is that you crack them open and take the yellow pods out, but the maad fruit is small and sour and stringy, whereas durian is big/fluffy/chewy and has a custard/garlicky taste
Beautiful!! Looks like you are having lots of fun. I can't wait until I am done building out my minivan. Currently documenting on my channel. Love it!!
yes!😁 one of my favorites is Power vs. Force by David Hawkins. Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl is another great one. One the topic of surrender, I'd recommend the Michael Singer books I mentioned (The Untethered Soul and The Surrender Experiment). I hope this helps! <3
At 60 I can tell anyone out there that once you quit a job you don't love, you will always find something better. And as long as you are working for others, quit every 2 to 5 years and move on to something else. People get stuck in jobs because of the fears. I have had several coworkers along the way that stayed at a job because of the fears. They feared change, instability, financial insecurity, ageism, and numerous others. I just had someone tell me that they thought they couldn't get another job at 52.. I said "I am 60! and I just got this job, the jobs are numerous right now. I get emails, texts and calls almost daily, so drop that fear." But our culture has had a mindset of always working and I am glad that is changing. Take time off, enjoy life. So many applications nowadays say "explain the gap between jobs" and that just pisses me off!!! I would love to say "to enjoy life a bit between jobs!!!".
yea that sparking joy thing doesn't work for me either. From extensive travel with work, I have found that I can buy things needed for that area pretty cheap, usually at dollar stores or thrift stores, and then when I leave I can donate it back. I think the heaviest thing is my laptop. Hard to live without it.
What questions are you seeking answers to? Can you define the specifics, or are you searching for enlightenment in any form that comes? I have a few questions: what is this reality?, does god exist?, and what is the best solution to achieve peace and freedom?. Ultimately the true answers take deep contemplation.
There is a collective energy/ awareness source around us all .....its up to you to find your path to be able to tap into this....musicians have done this all along via music since music became.....this is the reason they have dumbed down our music. Just an example. Its all in the ether surrounding each one of us but its only tapped from within! Yet I feel you know this already.
Whew... . . I appreciate your willingness to gain more knowledge. Carl Jung is a great place to start. . . Some Terrance McKenna. . . Meister Eckhardt. . . Most "spiritualist" may appear to be genuine, but sadly tell you what you need or want to hear, packaging others people's work as their own, or "new" take on it. I wiill check out the ladies work you recommend and add an addendum here soon after. Ultimately you have the choice to be good or evil, free will. . You can either lean on God, or not. Bottom line, your main topic has been debated about for millennia. . . Finding said truths are a worthy road to follow, but all the answers you seek can be an ardous task indeed. Peace and much love ❤
I’m currently reading WOLF, by Zeev Scheinwald, a holocaust memoir. There are times when you must not surrender. Yes, surrender can bring peace of mind, but the flame of resistance built by not surrendering is sometimes necessary for our survival.
So to digress a little do you perceive God as a singularity? And aren't Dragonfly's cool, I have a few that live in the trees/brush at the back of our section.
The law of attraction was taught by Jesus in the book of Thomas but was removed from the bible. Seek the unedited teachings of Jesus.....I actually needed this message from you today! Thank you. To live in balance with both points of view is to truly know yourself. If you truly know what your wants and purpose are...then you evolve to the law of attraction. Sister Rissy came back forgetting something! lol..See you both in tiune! lol
Excellent video. Never used these terms but definitely used the methodology. Your life is a story that unfolds wonce you recognize the path your are on was layout for you to discover by God. Practice; we all need practice to get better. Life is practice. If you are able to think neutrality you can accomplish amazing things. Life takes what it takes. Through Grace we will achieve Eternity. Practice for Eternity.❤
Very important, since we live in a time when the internet is constantly telling people to emotionally react, and watch reaction videos. Our emotional reaction will not change the outcome.
On the western trains - the ones that run throughout the west - the Dining Cars are back in service. That means the ones with kitchens. The meals are all cooked when you order them, and as you order them (you want you're steak rare...). If you are in the sleeper cars, all the meals are included in your fare. If you're in coach, you might or might not be able to get a meal in the dining car and the hamburger in the cafe is a lot less expensive (though not nearly as good). The cheapest of the sleeper rooms is the "roomette". It's designed for 2 and is lovely for 1. Also, if you are in a sleeper car, you have access to nice showers. That's wonderful if you're going to be on the train for a long time. I've taken long distance trains here in the U.S. and over parts of Europe. Their train trips are generally a lot shorter because the distances are shorter. meals are non-existent on their trains (again, shorter distances) and I didn't like their sleepers as well.
Ok very loaded question but I am a narcissist so here we go probably not two things happen to me when I was very young One my mother die when I was 3 and the second I am not willing to talk about but away that kinda thing rips a hole in your heart that nothing yet has been able to fill maybe one day there will sometimes or someone that can but I really don't know but i,'ll keep trying.
As a student of sociology and a fan of self improvement and spirituality, I really enjoyed you sharing your thoughts and journey. I didn’t know you were making videos again. I’ll have to check out the others. Take care.
I just recently took a train trip to Galesburg,Illinois from Denver, Colorado in June 2023. Had Coach seat so slept on coach wish I had a Roommate because I am not good sleeping around a lot of people. But the rest of the train experience was good. Would definitely do it again. And it is cleaner on the environment.
