There needs to be either a documentary or movie about the legendary group Cameo! Either Unsung needs to do a documentary about this group and how they became legendary! If a movie is done, F.Gary Gray or the Hughes Brothers needs to direct this cause definitely Cameo fans would love to see this! And have Larry Blackman as the executive producer to make sure it's done right! Have either H.B.O. either do it or put it on the big screen! Hope this comes off in 2025 cause Cameo fans would luv to see it! Nuff Said!

Larry Blackmon is the Main man! The King of Funk! Tommie Jenkins Anthony Lockett Aaron mills and Charlie Singleton Are the Ones! Everyone else including the great Gregory Johnson and leftennant Brothers are from the early days and are the $hit!

Somehow I knew this was gonna focus on their “Atlanta Artists”-era stuff. That was stuff cool, but give me Cameo when they were still in New York…with 35 brothas on every album cover. THAT was the Cameo I came to know and love! Yeah Cameo from their self-titled debut through ALLIGATOR WOMAN! With contributions from the Leftenant Brothers and very important contributor in the first half of their career, keyboardist Greg Johnson…the TALKER on all those early albums!
MISSING IN ACTION >>> Nathan Leftenant, Arnett Leftenant, Greg Johnson, Jeryl Bright and Charlie Singleton. The late great Wayne Cooper should have been mentioned. BTW - Brick, Mother's Finest and the SOS Band were kicking it in Atlanta long before Cameo moved there.
