Here I'll sum up what should have been in this video. RA1141- More for transportability. Folding legs, not heavy duty fence with 2.25in dust port, mdf top and router is attached with quick connect feature. RA1171- Far more robust mdf top compared to 1141, anodized aluminum fence with 2.25in dust port, fully enclosed cabinet to maintain dust control, heavy duty aluminum router plate that can be replaced with a router lift system, does have bit height adjustment from table top. Better option for a shop. RA1181- Standalone router table with no cabinet. Has all same features of the 1171 minus no cabinet and this has a full aluminum table. All 3 models come with guards, feather boards and power strip switches. My personal favorite is the RA1171
As a ms 391 owner with 25" bar and a ms 310 owner from the 90's there's stihl and then everything else. Also have stihl combi system with weed wacker pole saw and blower. Its amazing
This was the worst. Glad I skipped the commercial in the beginning. Who made this? Material Removal Gauge and Thickness Scale was bypassed and you literally skip all the features of almost any of them. You could of just said the cheap one is budget friendly, the next is an upgrade and the next is an upgrade still and repeated it 3 times and you would have saved everyone time.
Husqvarna makes 2 150BT blowers. One has the X torque engine one does not. The blue choke one just has a standard 2 stroke engine. The red choke one has the better engine. Don't buy the one with the blue choke.
This video must be an advertisement for both stihl and husqvarna. But as a Husqvarna rancher 460 owner i will gladly just keep the 460 because its a freaking Beast. You can keep the overpriced Stihl
460 has been dependable for over a decade doing 10 cords a year with next to no maintenance! Starts 3rd pull every time and zero headaches vs every stihl I have had.
This pains me to say because I had to say this about a Ryobi product a few weeks ago, but this router table is hot garbage! I bought this table for $124 at Lowes - on sale from $250. I thought I hit the jackpot. What I realize now is that Lowes couldn't give this thing away unless some shcmuck - me - bought it. Well, I'm not a schumk but I am green at wood working and the important lesson I learned today? Steer clear of Kreg products. The clamps to fasten down the fence? Garbage. The instruction book is barely understandable. The packaging had most of the screws and parts in un-marked pouches so you had to almost guess which screw was called for in the instructions. The list goes on. I paid $124 for this item and in my opinion it was over priced by $100.
So, you end with the most dangerous ripping I've ever seen performed using a cabinet saw. Who ever made this video has no business making woodworking videos. You should try cooking videos, but you probably don't know anything about that topic either.
