Here is interesting fact on USA last housing market crash we had of 2008 it took 4 years for housing market to bottom out. My follow up question is as i am new to Canada having moved from USA when do you think housing market in Toronto or GTA will bottom out?

Bidding wars drive up home prices. This was bot allowed in the not so distant past. Now we get agents telling us to not get caught up negotiating price and making millions off of homebuyers backs. Nice. Home purchases should be private deals made in a lawyers office. No commissions paid.
Lol.....there will be no spring market. Now is the worst time to buy, as we are at end of the cycle and the credit crunch is contracting, including the economy is receding fast.
Hi Steve, Thanks for watching!! I hear you, and understand that the economy may not be in as great a place as some reports are leading on. I do think that there is a large pool of buyers in the GTA waiting to act (until now inventory has been very limited). With the increase in listings I believe we will see an increase in sales over the course of the next month or so. Having said that, a good spring market is one with good steady sales, and steady sale prices. I do not expect to see large increases in prices as many have become accustom to in recent years.
I have not seen a single real estate product seller saying the market is in danger while many news and articles are warning about the crash. Very interesting
