Now the real question is which one possesses grander spooky magic....the arm of Jackson or the leg of Hood? Thank you for the video and we appreciate Ranger Henderson's commitment to preserving history.
Have 10 bullets from the Battle of Franklin Tennessee. Of the 9000 casualties 7000 were Confederate. Fighting was so fierce at and around the Carter House, soldier were crushing each other skulls in with their rifles. Nearly 160 years and there's still plenty of scars left. Thank you for making the video.
My great great grandfather and my great great great uncle both of the 32nd Tennessee Infantry CSA fought at Franklin A sad and a terrible day for both sides
My dad was in the 78th for WWII. This video is not about the 78th and is somewhat garbled by all the name dropping. The details provided don't do a good job of describing the difficulties the 78th had at either at Kesternich or Huertgen. The 311th was one of three infantry regiments in the 78th Infantry. The details provided don't do a good job of describing the difficulties the 78th has either at Kesternich or Huertgen. it is problematic to wrap the history of an entire division around an individual; doing so does not provide context, confusion.
Tagalog is pronounced Ta-ga-log, not Tag-a-log. I’ve been to the Philippines several times and know a lot of Filipinos and this is the correct way of pronouncing it.😉👍
This is the best video on Springhill Redoubt. I had the pleasure to watch Today I am writing a book about a surgeon and a vampire from 1779 Savannah. In the chapter I am writing today the surgeon provides medical support for the Springhill Redoubt. Excellent work on your part, now it's my job to bring the battle to life in my book. I will be visiting there in a few weeks.
The American Lend Lease program helped feed the Russian Army. Spam was a staple of the Russian diet along with the canned pork and complete combat rations printed in Russian. The West doesnt get much credit for this but Russia lost a large piece of its arable farmland during 41 and 42 and couldnt even feed iitself without help from the West.
I have those teas for breakfast every morning! My daughter got me some tea from there when she was in Boston! I order them online now, and I love them, a taste of history
Just stumbled on your channel. Enjoying your content. It’s easier to listen to you without background music as you speak. Not a big deal, again enjoying your content Thanks
This is a great video I am currently writing a fictional novel that I have set during the siege of 1779 in Savannah, so I am using RU-vid contributions to familiarize myself with Savannah and the rich history until I can tour Savannah next month. I appreciate your contributions via RU-vid. It's about a vampire and a surgeon who reside on Bull Street. Thank you for the assistance.
Thank you for the great video. I was recently at the 247th anniversary of the battle and I have been so sad ever since about all of the poor families that were left without their loved ones and had to fend for themselves after this battle 😥😥😥
@@marytherese6921 thank you for watching and for commenting. It was a horrible situation and period. The sad part was, it didn’t stop there. I want to go back one day!
I live in Fredonia Kansas not 10 miles from where Fort Row once stood, it is gone now. Sadly most people around here have never heard of the "Trail of Blood On Ice". I have know about it by research for several years. Thank you for your video. I enjoy watching videos about history. Especially when it is around my neck of the woods.
Nice trip into the bloody gully where our ancestors died. Tryon militia were not disciplined troops, but they could fight. They pestered Herkimer to move faster toward Stanwix, and he stopped using scouts and flankers, thereby missing discovery of the ambush. As the Oneida warriors fell, the Mohawks and Senecas had broken a long term peace covenant between the Iroquois tribes-a big deal.
