Love Autumn Leaves. Love Eva Cassidy (rest her soul). Why is this an Eva cover? The composition was done by Joseph Kosma, lyrics by Jacques Prévert / Johnny Mercer. OK, popularized by Steve Conway and Bing Crosby. Again, huge fan of Eva, but you credited the wrong person. OMG, can you believe this all started in 1945? We need to spend more time looking back.
Talented voice, but absolutely no one can cover the late, great Eva Cassidy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xXBNlApwh0c.htmlsi=wtCHC-yKoins-Eoh
Nice voice, but the extraneous, overused ornaments do absolutely nothing for this interpretation. She should sing it straight - or else add much more thoughtful variations, such as substituted notes and alternate rhythms rather than use the same gimmick over and over.
schade Potenzial ist da aber es kann ihr keine zeigen wie besser sein könnte außer mir die Musiker sind gut bringen das aber nicht auf den Punkt.Maprawde szkoda
Beautiful Voice and excellent Tenor Saxophonist!! You'll probably hate this, but it should be, "Autumn leaves start to fall", instead of "Autumn leaves startS to fall" 1- because of the original lyrics, and also the basic English grammar
The falling leaves Drift by my window The autumn leaves Of red and gold I see your lips The summer kisses The sunburned hands I used to hold Since you went away The days grow long And soon I'll hear Old winter's song But I miss you most of all, my darling When autumn leaves start to fall Since you went away The days grow long And soon I'll hear Old winter's song But I miss you most of all, my darling When autumn leaves start to fall Yes, I miss you most of all, my darling When autumn leaves start to fall
Why didn’t anyone correct Angelica’s grammar? She kept singing, “when autumn leaves ‘starts’ to fall.” The correct conjugation is leaves ‘start.’ That repeated error ruined this otherwise wonderful cover.
The falling leaves drift by the window The autumn leaves of red and gold I see your lips, the summer kisses The sun-burned hands I used to hold Since you went away the days grow long And soon I'll hear old winter's song But I miss you most of all my darling When autumn leaves start to fall Since you went away the days grow long And soon I'll hear old winter's song But I miss you most of all my darling When autumn leaves start to fall
Such a sweet and sentimental lost love story song. It was one of my fathers favorite song. Life is just like Autumn leaves drifting in the wind, not knowing what will unfold before you. And perchance, you brush up against your true love like two ships passing in the night. And you are left with just fading memories as the years go by.
I suspected this cover would be a waste of time, but I was wrong. I fell in love with Eva years ago and her covers are amazing, but this one is exquisite in its twists and turns.
La grabación explota en la primera nota. Parece que en las de ésta serie se tiene que revisar la post-producción. Angelika, te mereces lo mejor. Desde Barcelona un saludo.
