Great action. The old westerns always made every guy out to be an expert shot. Just shoot in your target's general direction... regardless of the distance... and watch him fall. Lol. Those bullets with built-in GPS must have cost a fortune. Worth every penny though if you ask me. Bet the horses appreciate it to. You rarely see a horse get hit.
Nice. Lots of ambush-style gunfights in this one. All's fair in love and war. They should add an Italian western shootout to the list. Because a cowboy never gets an even break... unless he breaks his neck falling off a horse. Also, with other movie genres, the language barrier might be a problem. But in a western, the guns interpret the dialogue so everyone understands... and appreciates... the plot. Of course it's never much of a plot. Shoot, fall, repeat.
Guys, guns, and a script that calls for good use of both. Makes a director's job much easier. He shows up in the morning, yells "ACTION," and then has a few hours to kill while the cast does some killing of their own. After about two hours, he comes back, makes sure no one is still moving, and yells "Cut... that's a wrap!" Not a bad job... on either end of the camera.
"Don't anybody move!" Well fortunately, they did, and the bullets hit the fan as a result. Always a good thing in a western. Nice scenery in this cowboy flick too.
@@shotstrangledstabbedYes. It's actually a needless command, because you KNOW they're going to move. It's more like a warning that you've got a bullet with their name on it.
Very nice. Odd that the guy at 0:54 appears to have been hit before it actually happened. Guess he wanted to jump the gun before it jumped him! Lol. Love the various settings used in this flick. A guy isn't safe no matter where he is. Even a day at the beach is no day at the beach. Although this isn't a western, the look wasn't a waste of time either. Thanks.
The West is the Empire of Narcissism. Narcissists are the predators of Humanity. 👉Narcissists are the Masters of mental manipulation.👈 The Narcissists are changing the definition of words at their will. The West is trying to exterminate Japanese nation since the 16th century. Japanese history is a BIG LIE, written by the Narcissists. The Narcissists are hating Japan more than anything else. Martin Scorsese directed an anti Japanese film titled Silence. Charlemagne united all Germanic tribes and established 1st Reich. According to Anglo-Saxon Social Darwinism, there's ONLY one world Western is! Only those who are gonna cancel their National Conscience and adopt Reich, ONLY those will survive!
Funny thing about this is that a separate movie about the Alamo called "13 Days To Glory" straight up stole footage from this movie (2:39 to 3:04) for their battle scene. It's amazing how they pretty much got away with it.
Thank you for noticing that!!! I just watch "13 Days To Glory" again and you're right. Well done. I have two edits from that movie. Here is one with the battle. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c_D9saSl4Xc.html
The choking scene did look awkward. Also after choking him out Garner reached for the gun on the corpse so Why didn't he take the gun off him and shoot? In fact why didn't the guy shoot Garner from above instead of dropping on him with a knife? Since I have never seen this film maybe the gun was empty?
Lol... all good points, but MUCH to analytical for a spaghetti western. Never let common sense get in the way of a good fight scene. As long as enough guys eventually get in the way of a bullet. Lol.
Ok, I'll cowboy-up and try again. "Elizabeth, I just made a killing." You and everyone else in this spaghetti shoot-em-up. Many of them courtesy of one of my favorite stars of this genre... a Gatling gun. But the star of this one was James Garner I believe. Correct? 4:02 (that choke-out) was unique... I always wondered if that was really possible to do with your legs... and the gun-down at 4:31 was nice. There were others... no shortage of guys meeting their Maker in this western. At a time when the "spaghetti" genre was at its peak, this offering was one of many worth a look.
Thank you very much for trying again!!!😍 James Garner indeed. That coke-out must have been fun while rehearsing. "Oh, I feel that you enjoy choking me!". I would have tried doing it turned around: with the guy being choked facing down. "When we rehearse it's better not to dirty our costumes. Let try it in underwear or naked". Sorry, I got carried away 😁
@@shotstrangledstabbedLol. Yes, ALL of these scenes must have been fun to rehearse. Pretending to be choked, shot, etc... what could more fun than that? That's when you wanna hear the director yell "DO IT AGAIN... AND WITH FEELING THIS TIME!" As far as you getting "carried away," that comes after the scene is filmed and they realize you refuse to stop playing "dead" and two guys (hope I'm one of them) carry you off the set. Lol.
@@shotstrangledstabbedWow, it's like you have a crystal ball and are able to see EXACTLY how it would go down. I just hope it's a large set so I have a lot of carrying to do. Lol.
Sorry Gary. My comments are removed more often than not to the point where it's not worth the effort. I posted one on this video and now find it's gone. I'm no longer going to bother.
Now my comment seems to have disappaered too 😭 I really have no clue what is going on. And hate to see you stopping making these great comments. But I understand.
