@@jaxfernandez3684 Because light holster wear from thousands of reps on a stainless steel slide doesn't really need it. That gun has "earned" that appearance as a real tool that I use as a professional. I don't own any "safe queens." Everything in the collection has a purpose and does work.
@@TrainWithWillis Look, I get it-light holster wear can give a gun character, but Cerakote isn’t about avoiding that or making a safe queen. It’s about protecting your gun from corrosion and extreme conditions, making sure it performs for thousands more rounds. Just because a gun has earned some wear doesn’t mean it can’t benefit from a coating that makes it more durable and reliable. Cerakote enhances its life as a working tool, not a safe piece.
@@jaxfernandez3684 Ok friend, its obvious you don't know much about who I am, who I work with, or how obviously familiar I am with these products. I'm a professional firearms instructor and spend most of my life on the gun. I'm clearly aware of Cerakote and its purpose.
I keep a SOFT and celox rapid ribbon in a phlster flatpack with a dcc clip. Depending on what I'm wearing, I'll clip it to my waistband, or on an rcs pocket shield. If I'm using a fanny pack, I'll move it over to the utility pouch, it's an Eberlestock bando that has a specific loop to carry the tq, ,(i keep gauze, pressure dressing, and chest seals in the mesh pouch. If i have the pocket space, I'll also supplement the flatpack with a phlster PEW.
If you have multiple weapons in your arsenal then by all means go law tactical. But if not don’t spend that much on a gun that don’t shoot folded. If anything happens to that tube your screwed
What are you experiencing that would make you think the 940 is better? Forget internet influencers, the Berettas are the accepted gold standard defensive semi-autos across the training industry.
The A300 and the 1301 both come from the waterfowl world, so in theory they should be able to run just about any ammo. I have an retired LEO friend and he always said Beneli for combat and Beretta for hunting. Now these new rigs come out. Excellent.
This is a horrible take, buddy. that "better than nothing" argument is, for something like this, is absolutely unacceptable. My guy, go out and get legitimate training.
@@davidsprings3730 I have to disagree. I have plenty of training lol I have used TQ in real life but if Im going to not carry something because its too bulky in my pocket A Rats is deff better then nothing. Whats my alternative a shoelace? Carry a backpack? Theres time I leave my house without my gun because its bulky. Not carrying something isn't a training issue. If you don't see that maybe you are blind.
That’s still a grade A shit take dude. That better than nothing argument is probably one of the worst arguments that’s out there. And you know damn well that there would be other alternatives than a “ShOeLaCe.” I’ve been teaching tactical medicine, tactical combat casualty care, Combat lifesaver, and so on for seven years. There are many reasons why that tourniquet is not recommended by the committee of TCCC. Your excuses are extremely negligible when it is not that difficult to make a Combat application tour kit that compressed, or other inside the waste options like the SOF-T Wide. The latter Compresses and reduces size to exactly the same, and is Recommended adjunct underCoTCCC.
Question on the OD Green one. Noticed there is no barrel band. Can one then say the barrel band is just cosmetic for a QD or MLOK set up and the shotguns performance/safety is not affected by removing it ? Appearance wise I think it looks better without it, it's a cleaner less cluttered look. Good video. Thanks
I believe in this class we were at 12. If on steel it’s commonly accepted with bird to never be closer than 10. If shooting this on paper with buckshot, I usually set it at 7 yards.
Thank you very much for this video and also for the ETQ review! I wanted yo buy ETQ wide but I will definetly stay with the CAT. Moreover, I see that I can carry CAT not only in waistbag or backpack but on my body. Do you have video showing how you fold the CAT tourniquet?
I have gone back and forth on wanting to purchase this but after seeing so many medical professionals mention what you have demonstrated has kept me with carrying my SOF-T wide. Appreciate the video.
I like it, but it's not worth $1,000 to me. I set a pallet upside down on four legs and have four dish washing trays on top for tools, with space under the pallet for the rest. No break ins yet and it only cost the screws required to attach the legs to the pallet.
Is this pushing with one hand on the gun and pulling it into your shoulder with the other ??? I’m confused and feel like I may naturally do this because I’ve shot thousands of shells and never had a bad experience …. Turkey loads, slugs, buckshot …
Pretty much… I heard old timers refer to this as stretching the gun out, as that’s kinda what you’re doing - like you’re trying to pull the shotgun apart by pulling it in opposite directions.
I'm trying to decide whether to go with the A300 or get a pump action. People who favor pump action tend to tell me that it is more reliable and can take any sort of shell compared to a semi auto. Iono which to get
It would wholly depend on the pump being discussed. Beretta’s, either the A300 or 1301 are incredibly reliable. So that part of the discussion isn’t as much of a consideration as it once was. It really kinda comes down to what you’re into, how much time on task you’re interested in putting in, etc.
I carry AIWB with my P01(my normal setup) without issue. I frequently go for 40mi rides, doesnt bother me. For me the key is the right belt and shorts. If your shorts are skin tight around the waistband, you're gonna have a bad time. Have them a little looser and cinch up the belt to secure the everything. Also helps that i'm skinny, i dont think guy with a beer belly could do it. Happy trails
Good on you! Love to hear rocking your real AIWB setup while riding. I’ve fortunately dropped well over 30 lbs since this video, and could definitely go on body if I liked. I hike a bunch more now, and always rock appendix when doing so.
There are no actual studies on this tourniquet. So far CAT 7 blows everything else out of the water. Now, if it was between this and a RAT? I would pick this however CAT 7's are the way to go. Hard no for met and do not waist your money.
@@TrainWithWillis Thank you for the response..Im just getting familiar with shotguns.I think the 1301comp pro is more suited to hunting with the 21'or 24' inch barrel...I guess the 1301 tactical cannot have an interchange barrel, which I hoped was a possible option
Really nice gun but they dropped the ball with the rear Stock options do to the design. It’s limited. If that was fixed it would rock. As of now, benelli M4 or 1301 is still King
The stock is the only thing holding it back. Even factory "shortened", it's still significantly too long for the real work it's designed for. If the LOP could get down to 12 inches it would be unstoppable for most end users.
I think you shot faster with the 1301, but delayed your first shot a bit more. I'd like to see you repeat that a few times ... if you did not pic the best outcome of many already.
That was just a one off on each. I absolutely will pick my 1301 over the A300, but most importantly just showing that the A300 can run incredibly well (and fast) in an end users hands. Just messing around to see how they compared. Anecdotally of course. 👍
Bought mine from Bereli out of Hollywood FL….***BUYER BEWARE****terrible dealer! Sold me an LE version (no choke) and never mentioned it was an LE version, so once I noticed it had no choke, I reached out to have them do an exchange since the gun was still new in the box! Took several calls and emails to even get a response, and when they did they lied and said their sale person told that to my wife on the phone. At that time (Jan 2024) their website only mentioned the choked version, with NO mention of selling an LE version. So they changed their website since then. Terrible dealer. I got my bank involved and after several months, got my money back! STAY AWAY FROM BERELI out of Florida!!!
Like any category of product, there are higher and lower quality designs. It’s not really a “debate” per se. Folks who know what they are talking about can rattle off a list of quality options, and a list of things to avoid.
One thing I’ve learned (about my self at-least) if something isn’t convenient I’m less likely to carry it. and noticed most ppl that carry don’t carry medical…. Back to the etq will it work …sure ? Does it work as good as a cat no but same reason I don’t carry ar pistol in a pack would it work better then a concealed pistol sure but just not super fees-able practical imo
