As a bills fan. The story that stuck with me about Allen the most to prove he wanted to belong with buffalo. The owners/gm/coaches were going to have dinner with him before the 2018 draft but his plane got cancelled. He called them up and asked for them to wait for him while he booked a flight as close as possible then he rented a car on his dime and drove two hours to make the dinner an hour late. He showed up and the Bills staff said it showed dedication and they had to have him.
I'm a huge bills fan. I'm 20. So most of my childhood the bills weren't so great. He was what the bills needed. Buffalo is a smaller town and that he wants to be on this team is amazing because he's so good. The narrator pronounced the the name of the hospital wrong. He's also dating Hailee Steinfeld not Britney Williams. He's humble saying he's not the best and he can still improve. From what I heard for my mom, the bills werent like that in the 1990s
A team that has never known how to develop a QB, year after year sez the same sh*t year after year. I'm from Cicero I'm 52yrs GOD given. .. I'm not a wagon hopper. This kid under throws. In college that will get you by when your receivers are young and are hungry. The NFL will eat that shit up. Justin will have a better year,, unfortunately for us
Lamar is GOOD, stop glazing!! He puts up stats and WINS in the regular season. The playoffs are what matters and he consistently underperforms. You can try to blame the coaches if it makes you feel better. But no QB has been better supported than Lamar since entering the NFL. They’ve drafted THREE 1st round WRs since drafting him. They’ve formed the offense completely around his strengths. They’ve given him a top 10 defense EVERY season. At some point you have to hold him to the same standard as every other QB that hasn’t won anything meaningful. He’s being paid top tier money and not living up to it. His WORST games and the teams worst offensive outputs have come in the playoffs every season he’s played. Take the kid gloves off and be honest! To this point Joe Flacco has been a better Ravens QB than Lamar. His playoff run was EPIC!! Lamar hasn’t done anything memorable when it counts except throw an INT into TRIPLE COVERAGE in the ENDZONE… enjoy polishing MVP trophy’s and talking about the regular season….
Been a Bills fan since the mid 80’s and Josh Allen is a blessing to our team. From leadership to laying it all on the line. This young man is QB GOLD! GO BILLS!
Let me really simplify it for everyone. The guy is extremely overrated and needs to have superior talent around him in order to shine against other teams. If teams are comparable in talent he struggles bad. Dude most likely will be a backup in 4-5 years in the NFL with a start here and there in his career after that.
While I am a life long Chiefs fan having grown up south of Kansas City, I have nothing but respect for the raw talent and creativity and drive of Josh Allen and the Bill's future in the league is undisputed. And I actually grew up in a rural Kansas town that was surrounded by farms and spent many weekends on my neighbor's farm West of town. So, I wasn''t aware of that part of Josh's story and thought that was very cool. I moved to Los Angeles after college and have never left, and I thought Josh was from the Midwest having landed at Wyoming, so it was a surprise to learn that he grew up in California and I wish him only the BEST in his very bright football career.
Josh Allen is the second best QB in the league right behind Mahomes and yes it does pain me to say it because the Bills should’ve won two years ago in the playoffs and probably would have won them the Super Bowl. But in reality KC has the better coaching staff and Mahomes is just magic that fits it all right in. Mahomes is the best QB in the league and even us Bills fans will admit it, but what separates these two great QB’s is the coaching staff. KC knows how to close it out vice versa Buffalo who just seems to can’t get over that hump in closing the games out.
Mahomes has to be better because of what he does on the field while dealing with all the off the field problems his family causes for him. Josh doesnt have to deal with that and this is from a Bills fan.
I think Josh Allen is a great guy and a very talented QB with a cannon for an arm and a heart of gold. His love for kids is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen . He is family oriented and is surrounded by a supporting family.
That's the way football is. Pure Americana, toxic masculinity on full display. The way it should be. Every sport needs its characters, and football should always be brutal and gladiatorial🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 The rule changes that have come in the NFL are nothing but a politically motivated attack on America and masculinity by the owners of the teams who are nothing but leftist and globalist and want to appease their friends in the circles that they hang in. That's the truth of the matter and I hope somebody like Vince McMahon brings back a new football league and brings back American football to what it should be.
