I need go keep practicing this i think its how im twisting the yarn, but im using white and brown, brown being the lasg stitch on the end and white in the middle im finding white is going into the brown so the brown not very prominent in the pattern.. ill keep trying!
This is the first yarn changing video/tutorial I've watched that ISN'T using continental style....THANK YOU. I can actually follow what your hands and the yarn are doing and I'm not pulling my hair out trying to translate the motions as I go. Finally it "clicked". So simple!!
I've watched lots of intarsia videos - this was very helpful. I can see that by starting a new yarn at the front, it keeps only working yarns at the back - wow, can't wait to try this tonight. I've frogged my first intarsia project 5 times already because I wasn't happy! The yarn holder also seems like a useful idea and one I hadn't seen before. Thank you.
I am new at knitting and it is very difficult for me to figure out how to knit side Icord and body. You did explain in this video but I don’t understand. Can you please make video on that too! Thank you.
On right-side row: knit Icord stitches; at end of row, slip Icord stitches while holding working yarn to the back. On wrong-side row: purl Icord stitches; at end of row, bring working yarn to front & slip Icord stitches.
THANK YOU soooo much!❤️ I had been watching too many tutorials looking for this exact technique! I just tried it on a headband and IT'S PERFECT! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Thank you for the chart!
I enjoy seeing the different cast ons you have taught I sure hope to see more!!! I hear there are hundreds of different cast ons one can do. This is so interesting and you make things clear.
Thanks for the tutorial. My pattern is a K3 P3 K3 P3, and so on, for 3 rows, then P3 K3 P3 K3 etc. for 3 rows, alternating. When I finished my first row, I was expecting to see 3 K stitches, but they looked like pearl. Not sure if I'm doing it right.
Great video. Finally had my questions anwererd about what to do it there is a color on each end of the work. The tip about avoiding yarn tangles is pricelss. Thank you.
Perfect, perfect, perfect! Been searching for this exact method! I've found everything but and it's either this or applying a three stitch icord around the entire blanket afterwards. THANK-YOU!!!!
