I owned a 756 PROII for 10 years and a 7600 for 6 years and I much preferred the 7600 overall. The 7610 is a little bit better than the 7610 like the independent dual receivers and the filters. But none of them are as good as the 7700 even with just one receiver. It’s a BEAST.👍🎙
Thanks for that video, but let me give you some advice. How a transceiver A/B comparison becomes more usefully? - Use the same Antenna. - Use USB-Sound-Card output from both transcievers. - Optional, use external, equal loudspeaker, on each. - Use a Antenna switch. - Switch each 5 second, between A and B transceiver. - Switch during THE SAME station is talking. - Use equal settings on each transceiver (BW, GAIN, FILTER...) - Cut out in the video, for to search stations. - Write the mode for this video in the content; XX vs XY RX Audio test @ SSB; CW.... - Please take this as a constructive critic. - take this also to improve your channel Maybe you will find some more ore better facts? Best Regards Mark
I've had my General about a month now, and the FT-710 AESS for almost as long. LOVE the radio. Hooked up a computer monitor to it, slapped in a mouse and a headset - AND LIFE IS GOOD. My wife can hardly get me out of the shack (a Bully Barn) and into the house for dinner. Yup, it IS that much fun. My very second contact EVER (from the Reno area) was Australia! Next longest was Italy. Hurry up and get in while the getting is good - 🤣
What are you using for an antenna. i just recieved a signature 9 from DX commander. and my 710 should be here in another week or so(on back order). 10 meter is suppose to be good right now , so am looking to use what i can for now@@MrTommy001
Nice rig!! Classic Icom. I saved for a year and almost bought one, but splurged on the CC once the 7610 came out. Still love the 7600. Still may pick one up or the 7700. Heart wants a 7851, but wallet says otherwise.
That's a great rig no doubt. The only downside in my opinion is the waterfall speed,(too slow) and would be a perfection if was like the 7300. Thank you for posting 😉
What do you think about the build quality between the 7600 and 756?. I had a 7600 and a 756 Pro2 and I thought the 756 was a better made radio. VFO, buttons and encoders all felt better quality to me..
Hello. Thanks for the video. I had one of these but sent it back for a refund from HRO. I hope mine was defective as the fan was on all the time with no transmitting. Is the one you have no fan when receiving only? Thanks, and 73 de WA3RSL
