Listening to this song I never noticed the upbeat square stabs in the chorus until this video. I think it’s such as simple addition to the track but it really adds a nice subtle groove and emotion in the chorus
great vid man but you missed out on a very sweet little section of the song. there's a guitar that plays right before the 3rd drop. It's such beautiful ear candy which you don't even notice but adds a lot of depth and care to the song
Dr. Luke Produktionen halte ich für ganz weit vorne, so wie damals das ganze Cheiron Zeug. Auch wenn der Typ wohl Zwischenmenschlich wohl eher besser aus der Ferne zu genießen ist. :)
Thanks Matt! This project file as well as the other POPlab remakes are available in "The Vault" poplabaudio.com/the-vault/ The Dancing Feet Project file is also included with the Hot Stuff Drum Production Suite: poplabaudio.com/hot-stuff/
I used a few different ones but I think I know which one you mean. It's a simple Reese Bass I made with Serum going through a little bit of processing (reverb + high pass + low pass)
Hey Nathan, congratulation for that pack !!! One question : that very nice Rees bass that you use at the end "Alienhouse Brass Open", is it included in the pack ? Thanks dude and congratulation again for your work !
The pack only includes .wav One-Shots & Loops. I think I used that preset a couple of times before (Freeze Remake for example) so you may already have it :)
I was thinking about doing a 6/8-time signature but I wasn't sure how, and also a Kygo beat so I'm glad I found this video. 6/8 has a nice groove to it.
I haven't found any pack that did good recreations of those sounds even though some tried. Which is why I am in the middle of making a pack with all these sounds :) Most of the drums are done. Still working on the presets!
@@fabianpaulsson4474 Well I didn't want to mention any specific packs that I tried but here we go. Y2K is the best of all the options currently available. However I don't think they did a good job at recreating the sounds & capturing what makes them so iconic. Y2K is more of "similar sounds from this era pack" but a little too sharp and over-processed for my taste.
@@poplab_audio Apologies if I stepped on your toes. It's all relative, I've had a good experience using them. Though I can agree that they're a bit over-processed. I just purchased your 2000 bundle and I'm very impressed. If you release a pack with boy-band inspired sounds I'll make an instant purchase. Thank you for your amazing work.
@@poplab_audio Hey man. I’m sorry if I stepped on your toes. I’ve been satisfied with the samples from Y2K but I can agree that they’re a bit over processed. I just purchased your serum presets and Dr.Drums and I love it. If you make a similar pack to Y2K I’ll make an instant purchase. I do have one question though, I purchased the bundle deal with presets and dr.drums. I saw there’s a redone sylenth pack as well, are they also included in this pack? Can’t seem to find them separately anywhere on your website. All the best and keep up the good work.
