I think you need to have only shaffar and a Cook as Minions in your deck, the rest should be only removal/draw spells. Then your goal should be to duplicate the spellburst buff as much as possible with the cooks, aways playing the smaller and trading the bigger.
honestly might be better i would worry a little bit about running out of cards to then shuffle the cooks back tho. U Probably could get away with amalgam , cook and shaffar the leeroy tho is funny :P
i really want to try it out this week we should be getting a balance patch this week so im playing it safe with announcing what i'm doing later in the week :P
Props to you for trying out new exciting decks! Thanks for letting us know how good the deck is at the end of each video! Looks fun, but very clunky to get it to work. Warrior hand buffing has never worked in this meta. Especially when you have blood DK with 4 or more board clears.
I liked the controlly version of the list running barely any minion. It was better than I spected. I played my own version and I eneded up cutting Line Cook in favor of the duplicating taunts. It turns out the answer was to fully lain towards Line Cook.
another way u could probably take this is cutting line cook tho but use zola and voone to get infinite marins thus spells… tho i really just think this line cook version is a little bit better tbh
@Nautlocke_Vt Are you gonna pursuit Dragon Shaffar next? Let me warn you that is extremely dificult to hit the 7-cost dragon with the spellburst effect. There's probably a workaround with pupil and the 2-cost spell that generates dragons... But I didn't thought of it when I was testing.
i really havnt thought about it to much its something(well besides 40 cards) i wanted to revisit for a while & I feel like if u are smart enough with the wheel u wont instantly lose to boomboss. Also waiting to see hat blizzard announces as balance changes since we should be getting another batch this week(which is why I'm doing Diablo Tuesday on Stream instead of Hearthstone(unless the changes come out Tuesday :P)
Few things to note: I thought about using Voone + Zola & Marin as a way to get infinite spells BUT decided it to be a bit to complicated to actually try SO if u want try it out and let me know how it turns out :) 2 - I know the deck is kindof bad but its fun so we are showcasing it anyways :P

Speaking of renathal? I added 10 cards to my Wheel deck. Keep turn 2-6 cards don't keep wheel unless against warrior and plague death knight(after they play the plagues) Drain soul, endgame, trog gemtosser, doomkin, enhanced dreadlord, Card grader(you need card tutoring so bad), Imposing Anubisath, Mind Control Tech, Tony, King of Piracy and Last of all Prince Renathal. wheel is on the list of things to do i got a deck for tomorrow & wednesday(i didnt want to scrap it even tho it was before the new cards) I figured it probably would be a pretty good counter to warrior if u know how to time the wheel glad its working ofr u

@@Nautlocke_Vt Fair play. Doesn't help that Archimonde is still blue unlike nearly every other (Demonic) Eredar that is either Red or some shade of purple/gray and he's one of the most prominent Demons.
i did but they ended up feeling bad/space turns out even if u manage to buff them up a bunch u dont have ways to dup them 0 mana big stat minions dont do much late into the game :/
@Nautlocke_Vt Those giants have tobe good in at least one deck. They have too. The best use I have found for them is in pseudo-evolve DK. But thr deck is very inconsistent. And the other deck I try them was in miracle rogue (or shuffle rogue) but even there it was not consistent. I believe the problem with the location giants is that their cheat out condition is way too inconsistent to pull off.
So this is what I was missing in the stream. Absolutely 1st tier deck. Even with all the missplays burning value you had like a full deck worth of value left and your oponent was reaching fatigue. Renathal Warrior is doubtlessly gonna be the best control deck in standard until the next expansion.
yeah! its a fun one but i will say i think over all blood dk in theory is better because of vamperic blood if u can get it to stack enough or even wheel lock(it counts this type of deck)
@Nautlocke_Vt Wheel of dead seems a good contender. But it is obliterated with Boomboss (lord, I hate that card. Rotate already!) And blood DK is strong until you play Odyn. If any, Ramp druid is the one deck that can match the amount of value Warrior generates. But is not truely a control deck, more like an scam one. I still believe warrior will be control king once again.
it be funny if the control king becomes the class we least expect right now aka priest but that is a pretty good break down on why each individual class would be worse then warrior. still trying to find something fun with shaffer but i'm already seeing a lot of dk lists so we might try something different
@Nautlocke_Vt Oh yeah... I forgot priest existed. Priest might actually have a shot in a face to face against warrior cause they definitely can outvalue them and the 4 mana building is very scary. But overall I believe priest loses against everything else. Is definitely not as good at controling as warrior and DK. Priest's board clears are not that good. About Shaffar... the list I predicted become popular? That was extremely fast. I was hoping you'll get it out first.
the rogue or dk list? yeah i wish i had gotten to it quicker but it is what it is... Worth noting I have an off meta list for Line Cook & Shaffer that will definitely be monday's vid just because its FUN :P
funny enough the very last game i played with this list was vs wheel lock... and i lost IF decks like this become an issue wheel lock will definitely make its way onto the channel next week

paladin wont have a starship sadly which is weird given how key they are to draenei culture. DK DH Hunter Rogue & warlock are the ones that will have unique star ships as pointed out in the reveal article. Draenei decks will be interesting depending on what we actually get we will see what is the best there

the spellburst minion could combine really will with shaman drinks, because the spellburst handbuff could land on any and all of your chump spell damage minions, to help cascade bugfs into drink spells into buffs.
i had a game vs jiminator that didnt make it into the vid(it was from the 30 card version) where he was using rogue to bounce it back to hand and the pirate package to double it + amalgams it was a fun idea but i think i'm going to try to do that with dk? idk we will see I still also have to put out my Hunter list because i dont want to scrap it >.< lots of fun good games
well tested it a bit turns out amalgam does no sadly work with the spellburt :/ it keeps the stats but u cant retrigger it BUT there is a funny haha combo u can still do with an amalgam , linecook and shaffer
the biggest weakness for big shaman wasthat you drew your deck too quick, with a renothal package, combined with all of the tutors for spells and minions both, you could build some WHACKY lategame control shaman lists imo.

glad u enjoy it it really is just a vibe of a deck. Thematically it just works so well with itself digging for treasure on a beach making sand castles out of the sand the only thing to make it more on theme would be pirates

Theres some good ideas here but there are also some questable ones... First off rewind is an arcane spell which hurts the combo between stargazing and lightshow. 2 Kobold Geomancer as much as i love that little kobold aint something u should be running in 2024 its just to slow unless u use something like marin to try to make it cost 0. 3 u got no turn 1 plays at all man
@@Nautlocke_Vt Yeah I see those points - I tried the deck in this video, but games would drag on too long. If you don't draw light show, and can copy it a lot, you'll be surprised how the 2 mana spell damage cards and the 4 mana imps can do a lot of damage. Try it out and see how you go :) I'm not sure how it fairs in diamond / gold ranks :)
@@Nautlocke_Vt Also if you draw rewind off stargazing, you can just copy stargazing, and you'll still have a lot of spells to play with :) It might feel tight, but you pull off quite a few wins :)
Looking at your list i noticed conniving conman can also cheaply copy a Sif if no (non-rogue) spell has been cast after her - that made me wonder; if Sonya counts a cover artist played on a Sonya as having played a Sonya, then eventually conman does so too and if that is so two conmans could be four Sifs, but somehow I think this will not be true, I'm probably packing together the necessary cards and check that interaction against the innkeeper before I start dreaming together a plan without knowing if its core necessity is even working as I think it may be working. Be it as it may, a four mana Sif is also nice to have access to, sadly there is only one rogue spell we'd be able to cast during that turn when the original Sif is played (2 mana, 2 damage, get a coin, something with manager, I think). It is 3 o'clock in the middle of the night, so I hope I make sense and don't utter nonsense. Get well soon!
ud either have to find sif in rogue or find sonya in rogue both of which arnt the easiest. I know there are some insane cover artist sonya lists where they do that to get like 4 sonyas for a ton of poisons so it should be possible

I see what you ment by "God tier" game. The match against the blood DK had me on my toes the whole time. I'm glad you didn't ditch Sif before that game.
i was close to ditching her a lot then realize i didnt really have any other legendary besides skyla to put on the thumbnail so she stuck around :P Weirdly I had a few games like that first one but there was no point including multiple of the same win
