i think the 2 toroid inductors and the 1000 nanofarad capacitors set the resonant frequency. microfarad. The resistor has the iron, copper and aluminum in it.
Vladi Mazzilli (as registered on FaceBook...) actually worked on Tesla Coils using Flyback Transformers while he prefered to call his circuit a "Royer ZVS", patented in 1954! Etc, etc... Here's a complement of external resources to help reset the clock and provide a much wider perspective: i.postimg.cc/9Q0fsf8f/About-Vladimiro-Mazzilli-vs-Royer-ZVS-Known-as-vladi-mazzilli-on-Face-Book-Graph-ed-by-Egzoset.png facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10201891384713892&set=a.1979407652483 Flyback Transformer setup (HV/plasma) facebook.com/vladi.mazzilli mazvla @ iol dot it patents.google.com/patent/US2783384A/en US-2783384-A · Electrical inverter circuits facebook.com/photo?fbid=10201892284336382&set=a.1979407652483 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Udxe0nbVnTE.html RU-vid: Mazzilli DRSSTC (2010-Oct-12) www.pupman.com/current/vladi/vladmap.htm Mazzilli Vladimiro's Tesla Coil images i.postimg.cc/L8rdxxH4/Jorg-Rehrmann-joretronik-de-One-way-to-drop-Mazzilli-diodes-in-Royer-Gate-Driving-480x360.png docplayer.net/26964431-High-voltage-resonant-self-tracking-current-fed-converter-a-thesis-presented-to-the-faculty-of-california-polytechnic-state-university.html core.ac.uk/download/pdf/19136619.pdf High voltage resonant self-tracking current-fed converter (2010-Mar) p53/152 - Figure 2.9: Mazzilli Converter Topology webfiles.portal.chalmers.se/et/MSc/Christian%20Andersson.pdf Design of a 2.5kW DC/DC Fullbridge Converter Fig. 2.13 -- Inductor core and eq. electrical circuit « Snubbers... ... whats wrong with ur explanation? u had one p/s running the circuit with 10 caps and supplying 100 Watts and then u changed to 2 p/s in parallel to give 200 Watts. why did the original not give 200 watts with one p/s? if the p/s were in series this explanation may sound true (even if it isn't) but they were in parallel and their output voltage did not change. so what happened? where did the power go? were u measuring p/s output current?
Hello John. I have some experience with a similar circuit. My guess is that high current draw of their circuit pulled the power supply voltage 'way down. By doubling the amperage (adding a second supply) they delivered more current to the load. Emma.... where did u learn to speak? terrible pronunciation... are u a Valley girl? as in San Fernando Valley? anywayyyy... you guys are the only ones I have heard on RU-vid giving a good and correct technical explanation. since this was done in 2013, I guess you have also realized where u made some small errors in your explanation.
