Absolutely love these chapters and great video! Can't think of much to say though so decided to just write this instead of doing the time stamp then comment like I usually do but I just love how these chapters show off how much Maruna and Ran have really changed. Maruna's who's been surrounded by humans and helped sometimes by gods has more trust and respect for them and just more emotionally in touch with others. I feel like its especially shown when Maruna suggests they talk to the gods which Ran just laughs at that suggestion and we just know that before this time stuff happened, it would have been the other way around! While Ran likely started to change since he went through the white space which likely messed him up mentally, then he spent most of his time with suras, who most distrusted the gods and likely can relate to the suras more now and now it seems most of his kids have died and he also has to leave them behind. Its so interesting to see Ran like this, since he used to be so trusting of the gods, now its the opposite! But with Chandra's behaviour and his time with the suras, it makes sense! And yes Ran likely does have the power to kill a god or maybe more, since he has trained with Nastika's who are usually more powerful than gods. Its kind of funny to think that Maruna has no idea XD

A lot to talk about in this readthrought ^^. I think a lot of the time travel mechanisms will be explained/made clearer in the next arc so it’ll be easier to have a better understanding of how things are happening. No hype but (imo) the next two are top tier and maybe some of the best. On Raltara bringing bad luck it’s not just her « pov ». Yama litteraly tells agni and ahr brilith not to worry about vengeance since a rakshasa with this level of sin will likely die. Which kind of brings up how fucked the whole sin system is. The reason Brahma tells Chandra if he wants to keep access to paradise he should do « nothing » is because Ananta is getting all the sins for indifference. I really wish Tan & Hanna's relationship or another similar one had been shown earlier in the series, because it's really the best example of what this series has established when it comes to romance between charas of different lifespans. We've been told this entire time that Ran x Rana wouldn't work because Rana would start feeling old, but we weren't really given much of a reason to think too much about it, especially since Rana had "solved" that issue. But here we see a potential future for Ran & Rana, and it's not really just got to do with physical age. It's those couple of lines: "'My love for you is unchanged.' [...] 'That's exactly the problem, Hanna // I'm no longer the boy I was 30 years ago // but you're still the same as 30 years ago'"

It is strange how erasing someone's existence works in Kubera. I can think of 3 different examples that all had different circumstances and outcomes. 1. Asha (and later Sagara, Lorraine, etc). They disappeared as a penalty for Hoti Visnu, but it was temporary (3 years then 7 years). Leez was able to remember Asha because Yuta blocked the effects from her when it happened. No one else could remember her. They remembered that there was someone with Leez and that there was a trial, but their minds refused to dwell on it more than that. Unlike the next examples, they are eventually remembered again, and we know they still existed in the white space with records of time. 2. Kinnara and OG Airavata. Kinnara used the spear to erase/change both her own and OG Airavata's existence, but took over as the new Airavata, changing everyone's memories of the past. It's still known as the 'Kinnara' clan and people are able remember her children (like Shess). It's also been implied that Leny possessed OG Airavata's soul, so even though she isn't remembered, and her name was stolen, her soul was not truly erased. 3. The Garuda's 'Second-in-Command.' We know almost nothing about how she was erased, only that no one stepped in to her place like the Kinnara situation and it's strongly implied that Kali got possession of her name after it was reclaimed. Hardly anyone remembers her at all. According to Raltara in ep 178, her name and circumstances have been forgotten. All of her children are being forgotten, as if they no longer exist outside of each other.

So now we have an explanation for both Ran's power when he attacked Brillith and how he overcame his half-phobia. There have been hints that Ran killed his mother, and that Lutz was lying to protect him, but it was definitely surprising to see that he also attacked Rana and Lutz.

As for how time travel works in Kubera, it's a bit more complicated than "what happened, happened. History can't be changed." S3 E110 gives a decent summary. On Konchez, after Kali (imitating Yuta) sent Leez back to when they left Willarv, Yuta explained to Ran "my mother ... sent Leez into the past, making the past before Willarv's destruction 'reality', and this universe without Leez a 'possibility'... A universe which is left as a mere 'possibility' burns up energy rapidly and collapses." Personally, I still get a tad confused by Kubera's time logic since I'm so used to "what happened, happened," so I won't try to go into more details. What I do know is that Ran is acting on the belief that his actions could turn the future of his existence into a "possibility," which would cause him to disappear according to Yuta's logic.
