Hello, good video. I have a problem, I have all the connections like you, but the sound is horrible, terrible, what could be the problem? To record video with my cell phone and to broadcast live on Tik Tok, the sound is horrible, what could be wrong? It sounds good in headphones but the result is terrible. plz help
Hey man, thanks for the video. Do you think it'd be possible to use a 2nd Focusrite interface instead of the iRig thing? I have 2 so I'm wondering if it'd be possible. Thanks!
Unfortunately if you’re running audio into an iPhone you will need something like an iRig to convert the audio. It won’t pick up directly from your interface even with two unfortunately.
If you have last years Iphone 15 which is having the type C port, Audio Interface 1 can be connected directly to the phone. So, Audio interface 2, connected to your pc, while the outputs directly plugged in at the 2 inputs of Audio Interface 1. And so on.... planned to try it though. I currently use PC->audio mixer->audio interface->iphone set up.
I know this may be a dumb question, but I don't want to do live streams...I just want to pre-record. Would it work for pre recording as well or only livestreams?
If you want to use your phone to record video and have your interface audio then yes this works for that as well. Otherwise if you’re just recording audio there’s no need for anything other than an interface.
Is your pedal order correct on your pedalboard? And are you in the effects loop in your amp (if it has one) or are you going through the front or the amp?
my drop pedal decreases the volume as well. I don't consider this as a huge problem but I would love to know what is the reason and possibly could eliminate that when needed. I use it directly in front of audio interface with no other pedals engaged.
Hey really great video! Do you have to wear headphones when you’re streaming with a set up like this? Can you hear your music coming through the speakers and the live stream will come out good without wearing headphones? Thanks!
Thank you! Mmmm, There may be a way to have the audio go out to both the interface and system speakers but I haven’t tried that myself. But if you’re just sending the audio out through the interface you could split the aux out to a set of speakers or just connect the speakers where the headphones would go in the iRig.
They probably been riding on the same thing because no one gives their guitars the time of day which low key pisses me off. Their solid guitars they need to be played more than just fender all the time.
