this is pretty cool although i ardia should had more civilizations tbh, yeah i know you said the biomes aren't best to live but tbh i don't think thats the best excuse since there were empires in places like this irl let alone on a fantasy world with multiple races.
the old world is exclusively human, at least for the most part, the coastlines are dotted with large scale cities and clans all gradually concentrate to the Slave States of Salu, the interior however is largely uninhabited because of the large scale rainforests which not only contain diseases but also extreme wildlife as it is situated on the equator. The northern part of the interior however is partially habited, similar to sub-Saharan Africa. but there are too many clans and cities to map and this is supposed to replicate the age of exploration maps which rarely feature small cities and clans on their known world maps. if im going to be honest this region is by far the least developed mainly cuz i concentrate on Albeon/Ardel and Merdia. The Land of claws are intentionally vague and desolate so yeah.
@@_Anmo_ i mean you could put some nations inspired by Zimbabwe, congo, Madagascar, sokoto and malí but its your world your rules tbh, just a suggestion.
Ohh yeah. Sorry, I forgot about that. Ardel is the name they give themselves, and Albeon is how they called by old worlders. Talking about humans in Ardel, do you used the Ice age bridge stuff in there too, or there's like a different explanation for humans in both places?
@@drxtale9446 yes, warhammer is just earth with fantasy races and magic. However its main purpose isnt artistic, it is to serve as a setting for a game. I assume this world is primarily meant to be artistic, so why do something that has been done countless times before? Why not be creative?
@@jern2216This is like asking why Alternate History fiction exists when Historical fiction exists. You're missing the wood for the trees. If you're obsessed with originality, then yes 99.99% of all human art through history is derivative. But not much is made for the sake of being purely original, and its honestly a bit of an impossible goal. There's nothing new under the sun after all
Added to my "Other Worldbuilding Channels" playlist. There is no escape, and you are forever bound to it. Also nice to see a fellow Stoneworks enjoyer getting funky here too. United Empire of Arcael is the best, it's better than all the rest, we are the most blessed, and can pass any test, and any nation that thinks it's better is probably stinky and among the falsest!
