This channel is full of Eurorack Reviews, Demos, Overviews, Walkthroughs, and of course modular synth jams! Have fun. I hope you learn something, and enjoy the journey into the world of synths.
There is no end to the journey. It's a rabbit hole that never ends. Follow the rabbit...
Some beautiful sounds here & this is high on my wanted list. Pity that N E seems pretty expensive. I don't know how familiar you or anyone here is with classical music, but every time I hear those tinkly descending arpeggios & other atmospheric sound washes on the video I can't help humming part of Jupiter in Holsts The planets, which goes quite well!
Absolutely phenomenal. Fun fact, this is also the lead microarchitect behind the math engine of the most commercially successful high performance CPU of all time. So it is safe to say he knows a few things about signals and event based sequencing. Ferrari should reach out about a sponsorship immediately.
Thanks for a nicely parsed, well talked through video. Cheers! I Typically find that demo, how-to, and explanatory eurorack videos are not helpful and often show off music that is nothing like what I do on my rig, making it difficult to imagine how a module may work in my personal setting. This was pretty great, and I got a descent idea of how to apply techniques to my own sonic experimentation. Thank you so much for that! I had just recently bought a Desmodus Versio, so I had made the purchasing decision, but now I see some interesting ways in which I can incorporate the module for my projects. Thank you so much! Cheers!
Hi there, thank you for this! I notice that you use a mono cable to output. My question: is it a stereo output when it’s summed that need a stereo cable? (At 1:13)
It is not a stereo mixer. It’s mono. You could technically use the first two channels for two left signals and the right two channels for two right channels, and mix two stereo signals together. There are certainly better alternative mixers if you need stereo.
@@the_rabbit ahh that makes sense now thanks! It's a really cool mixer. I like that it has two purposes, only problem is it's mono. I was looking for something that would have the same purpose and also have at least two channels in stereo and in 1u format. Befaco has one but not sure if it also acts as cv control.
