That varies from dealer to dealer. There is a newer model coming out now, and thus the lowest price I've seen online is about $2k. However, if you but it online, you'll get none of the support that a quality dealer brings!
The lighting makes it look like I'm sliding it under the stabilizer, but I am not. The stabilizer is taped to the bottom frame and I am sliding the shirt sleeve on top of it. Sorry for the confusion! I should have used a darker shirt to show that more clearly.
Yes, some of that software was not very good, or user friendly. Fortunately, the brands realized that there are good software companies, and there are cheap ones, and they've started using the quality ones more.
Wow ! You made that a LOT simpler than the Handi Quilter video ! She added a LOT more steps than you did. You made it truly simplistic ! Thanks so much ! I made notes on my iPhone “Notes” app. I’m going to delete more than half of them ! Thanks again ! Love this channel !
That was WONDERFUL ! It worked like a charm ! You’re a great teacher ! Thanks so much ! This is my third block that I’ve done since I got my machine and I wasn’t sure how to do this. I ran out of bobbin thread. I feel great ! Thanks ! Maybe you mention a good time in the process to change the bobbin. I did it after before I put the machine where I wanted to resume. Worked like a charm ! *happy dance* !!!!
im a beginner and just purchased a brother se700 machine. could you do a video on how to set up for first time use and what would be helpful when starting out. please!
any chance you could do a video on how to start embroidery business with a brother se700. I just purchased one and need to know things that are beneficial to starting out and possibly a how to setup for first use!
The SE700 is exclusively a home line model. So to start a serious business with it, means that you'll likely wear it out within 6-9 months. However if you're just wanting to do a little project now and then for friends, it should hold up significantly longer. We will be posting a video before to long on how to choose your next new sewing machine, and another one on how to choose an embroidery machine.
My wife is in the market for a new embroidery/sewing machine, so when I found this video we sat down and watched it together. We were not expecting your answer but, we found your advice to be filled with experience and right on target. Who woulda thunk the answer was as clear and simple as you presented it. This likely seals the deal for a new Ave.... Thank you sir.
It depends on the number of stitches in each design. So if each design only has 1000 stitches, it will display more designs than of each design has 15,000 stitches.
On the Amara machines, most people program the star button on the left handle to make 5 stitches very close together to form a lock. On the Avante, you can hold down the needle up/down button, and it will stitch slowly so that you can move the machine ever so slightly to form the locking stitch.
That is done through digitizing software. Unfortunately, that is not effectively available on machines. If you'd like to have something digitized for you, I could make a recommendation for a quality digitizer.
very good, you are the first one to cover the FCM file back to the pc instead of the other way. I guess you can take an SVG in to an FCM file then send it to the Computer and make a Stitch file out the FCM file too cool. thanks
found this video and was so excited to be able to import an svg file into BES and make a applique, HOWEVER, you probably have to have a power pack because my basic program will not import anything but FCM. So disappointed, I thought this video was the answer. 😒
Super fantastic video! I just got a Brother PE800 that came with the BES Blue Software, but NO directions on how to use it. I'm learning by searching RU-vid videos, and yours was extremely helpful! Thank you, I'm headed to checkout your other videos...I should be a pro in no time!
I was hopeful but this technique did not make a difference on my wife's Amara 20. I carefully followed the instructions, making sure the silicone-doused paper towel rolled between the round gear and the gear strip. 🧐 hmm
I am so glad I found your videos! I have been banging my head trying to figure this out and you just made life so easy!! Thank you so much for the help.
What to do if you did use “that” spray adhesive without realizing it would cause problems? Changed my needle but thread is still shredding and bobbin thread pulling to the front. Solaris machine. 😢
