I spend a 1000 on 8' locs human hair and bleached him using 40vol developer and bleaching powder and only some of the extension lighten so I told the girl who did my extension how come not all my my extension bleached some stayed black if she used all in human hair. How u could get vex with me for asking a question bcuz I know Synthetic don't take bleached or color so I feel that was used for some of the looks telling me about a certain volume of developer does be used to bleach the extension I've been bleaching and coloring my own hair since secondary school I'm in my 30s now she thinks am stupid or something. I have locs extensions b4 and they all took bleaching and none ever stayed black

My son has been wanting dreadlocks for a long time my family is white I just don't know what to say to him to make him reconsider but if I did let him do dreadlocks would it be classified as a culture appropriation

@Trulocsystem I think I did mine wrong. I bleached my hair and the extentions (after I installed them) yesterday. I dyed them black instead of red. When I washed after I dyed them, most of the black came out. Did I not leave it in long enough? It looks like a goldish black if that makes sense. I posted a clip on my page where you can see the color it came out. It looks darker than it is, though. Any suggestions?
When I first discovered this 6 years ago that it can be done fettt wap hair faux locs that's grown with my male pattern I was so happy to know I could have locs like anyone else.thesw videos is what gave ME HOPE

I've been sisterloc'd for 4 years, but they are thinning, breaking, and some merged, they are a mess, I want to cut & start over, but I don't want to give up my 4 years of length. This is exactly what I was looking for! I'm going to let my new growth come in a bit more to have something to work with. But this gives me hope
Before I start any loc extension service , a consultation is required. Client had a detailed picture on exactly what he wanted as far as loc size, loc length , size parting , and amount of locs he wanted. This is exactly what the client requested. He was very happy and impressed on how "on point "his locs came out based on the detailed request he asked for. Now if his hair texture and density did not match what he requested of course I would deny his loc size request and I would give him the reasons why...His hair may look "thick" as far as the density ... it's not. When you choose to have "permanent " loc extensions, the size of locs added MUST match how your hair will eventually loc, if not if you have low density hair and choose bigger locs, the loc extension will stay the size you choose but as your hair grows out, your natural hair will loc skinner because he doesn't have thick hair strands. The loc size he choose is PERFECT for how his hair eventually loced....it's a smooth transition from his natural loc to the loc extension. It's been 2 years now and the loc extension thickness he chose matches the way his natural hair loced. . He is still in love with his locs now that they are down his back and you can not tell he has loc extensions in. Continue to stay blessed and positive . 😁
