Its funny in europe you can buy a complete english set for 100 euro 😂 Just without the art cards and a japanese masterset for 300 euro so thats way cheaper then buying all those boosterboxes. And everything is Available cheap and in bulk
Why does everyone believe there really is going to be a reprint? The rumor could be spread just so everyone can panic sell just so the ones who started the rumor can get the cards they want cheaper.
I personally don't think that English 151 needs a reprint. It's been widely available on and off for way over a year now. Way better than Evolving Skies. If you've been patient you could even find deals online for under retail. I was buying UPCs from Walmart $90 free shipping for the longest, and the card single prices are very healthy. I've personally seen what massive reprints can do to a product and it can destroy all hype and confidence so im still a little shell shocked at that Japanese 151 reprint. Also let's never talk about what oversupply did to Shining Fates. 👀
I don’t think I’ll be selling them as they will always create the perfect room for me personally, but I always find more and list them for sale! I have an emerald listed now actually 😎
You mean closer to 2$ and some change packs were never 1$ not even in 1999 fam packs were always like 2.99$ but I agree in terms of pokemon becoming way overpriced. I don’t care what anyone says it’s overpriced. Also, if you buy cases they should all start at like a set price like 3/400$ these days cases starting at 600$ is crazy to me. 💀
The reprint maybe for everybody, but I'll surely enjoy watching all the scalpers and resellers cry about how they've lost money for hoarding all the product. only for it to be reprinted and the values drop back down 😊
Well I know it feels like a win in that respect but honestly man, the scalpers won already. Value will also pick back up quickly I think because the product should be absorbed quickly with how popular this set was and still is! Fingers crossed 😎
Someone posted 2 days ago it was “confirmed” and that felt a bit like misinformation to me. It is definitely a rumor and just that for now, but why would Pokémon leave money on the table? Seems like a sure thing to me that they’ll reprint 😎
Mark can you confirm how you know this or just assumption? Because I’m very likely going to go after the Costco UPC’s I need Nidoking and hyper rare mew so other cards aren’t the concern, but I also would like to pack another zard I’ve pulled 4 so far! 😎🙏🏼
@@orionsires i opened 5 upc from costco, and 6 upc not from costco. So 11 upc, also opened 12 etb. no zard , blastoise, no hyper mew, no arbok full art, squirtle, tengela, mr mime. however i did get 3 zapdos, 5 alakazam, 4 giovani SIR, multiple hyper switch and psychic energy. Did not open as much as you did but those odds are pretty bad.
Booster bundles are the clear winner, probley UPC in second place. I got 4 bundles for 21$ each a week or two ago on tiktoc, im going to keep trying to snag them whenever they are available at msrp, untill i have at least 2 booster boxes worth. Then im on to rocket and eevee set. And always 10ing chases to get it all for free. This is how we do thangs.
LOL I’m gonna let the chat decide and if they have mercy they’ll give me another week to come up with the UPC’s from Costco instead, the promos offset the loss as well as the box and the stuff inside and then 16 packs for 90$ is solid cost basis wise 😎

I was so hell bent on keeping these sealed I opened so many etb’s and upcs instead but I hope we can all grab some 151 it’s definitely the best set of this era 😎
Here in denmark, you have been able to pre order booster bundles and displays for a while now. The product Got pretty expensive, but now its back to msrp and it should be shipped i q4 They all write
Oh wow that’s amazing ! I can’t imagine being able to get displays for 270$ which is msrp but that’s what they should be! In the states they jumped in price from the sealed premium immediately 😂
The general consensus is everyone telling me to keep them sealed haha I really need to just do an order of the Costco UPC’s cause even if you don’t have a membership they are still mad cheap 🤷🏻♀️
stay up brother, pokemon isn’t the most important thing in life. sometimes things happen and a break is necessary, those that really love you will always be there. glad to hear you’re trying to get back on schedule. also don’t crack those displays, buy other products. also i heard upcs aren’t getting reprinted, just etbs, tins, bundles and collection boxes.

That’s the one thing I don’t have is the booster bundle “ sealed case “ , would love to get one of those for around 300 but I’ won’t pay much more than that and hopefully less in the reprint , either way I can’t complain I’m sittin I did take advantage on some good deals early on and this set is an absolute no brainer in how it will perform after they stop printing it I mean look at sealed celebrations and that set is way worse than 151
300$ is super fair man they are technically worth 260-270$ msrp and probably less wholesale to distribution really hope I can grab some of these or some UPC’s for like 80$ a pop or something 😎
Barnes and noble has been having some near me in texas recently for 54 bucks still. I'm not sure how consistent that will be, but I snapped up two of the etbs immediately
I kinda agree. I think you should wait to open the bundle until you know you can get more for cheap. Even with a reprint I might still keep my stuff sealed... I've opened thousands of dollars of 151. Great content dude 🤙

I’m hoping we can all enjoy the set more! I had a good amount near me but never found great deals online and when I had a chance I was focusing on other goals so this reprint is just in time for me to continue my master set goal! 😎
