Hey guys, I'm Berg! Part time variety streamer, aspiring boomer, and village half-wit that has gone global! Yes, I do ride motorcycles and I love to talk to you about the hobby. I'm also an avid golfer - I'm terrible and I love it!

I mostly stream RPG's, co-op games, and roguelikes. Come hang out with the Pit Crew and say hello!

Your charging your corners fast in the straights and slow in the turns

I've got my first track day coming up in June at Hallet. I'm nervous as hell. I'm trying to learn as much as possible from any vids. I'm experienced (20+ years) on bikes but new to the race scene. I just bought a new R1 last year and its became my baby, other than my girl. She bought me a track day so I'm wondering if she's trying to get rid of me or the bike.

I really enjoy CW, nice change from the typical CCW. Mostly cosmetic damage, bent and cracked my front wheel, and chewed up my exhaust a bit.

Glad you're alright! Bike doesn't seem like it should be too bad from that lowside. I don't like running Hallett CW. Though I have had numerous scary instances with washing the front out there. It's an insanely bumpy and slick track. You'll be back in no time!

@BergsterR6 Nice bike. I felt lucky to have not dumped mine when I had my moment. I still can't figure out how I blew turn eight so badly. Even though I had to get used to being passed on the inside, I enjoyed the openess of the track in race group. Last time I was out in street, I nearly rear ended multiple riders that refused to leave any room on the outside coming out of the corners. I also will be waiting for it to cool before returning. Hope to ride with you again.

@B20JonLee - It was really hot, and session 6 was the last session I did. I'm riding a 06 R6 in white primered track plastic. I was riding Bridgestone 003RS street tires. I remember seeing you on the green machine and you passing me in T9. I'm the guy in your video where you commented on not needing so much braking into T9 because of the bank. I crashed last year coming out of T9 so I'm still pretty nervous taking it too fast. I'll be back in Sep when it cools down.

You must have delt with the heat well, session six was rather toasty that day. Nice riding. I was on the street trimmed lime green ZX-10 on street tires and first time in race group that day. What kind of bike are you on?

I jerry rigged it to my damper. I use a GPR V4 damper, which has a pretty big dial in the center so I applied the adhesive mount to the dial. Turns out it works really well and still allows me to adjust my dial.

Redline on the R6 is 17.5K. What were you riding in street group? Motards can tear it up out there. Chad was on his white and black tard in Street and was consistently breaking at the #1 marker and killing people in the corners.
