@@VillagransPitStop on a Nissan 350z if you drain the block as well it takes 2.5 gallons to fill it back) but in this 3.5 liter Nissan engines it's a pain in the ass to get the air pockets out of coolant system without a vacuum pump!
I’ve used copper coat for decades now and have never had a head gasket come back. Is it because of the copper coat or because I do the job correctly? Either way, copper coat doesn’t cost much so I’ll continue to use it.
I build high power 15L semi engines, between 600-900hp, and we copper coat the hell out of our head gaskets, even with fresh machine work, its the only way to keep a cat 3406E or cummins 855 from leaking after a year of running, the customer and us dont ever want to see oil on the side of a $70k engine
Hope I will not have any leaks in near future on this Nissan 350z , thanks for information, I am using it for first time , decided to do an experiment!
