Hi Mike . Be back at it today day 3 what a work out. I forgot about those big rocks. Like to swing your place soon for a visit. Got it looking much better.
Thanks Wyatt , Sugar sand is pretty easy to deal with. I'm just coming in the house calling it quits it's too hot got it looking much better. I forgot all about those big rocks underneath. Looks like another $500 load of gravel coming my way.
The grip frame screws dont just come out, whichever one you want..the two screws by the hammer should be removed first, then the small one in front of the trigger guard, the two behind the trigger guard should be last while holding the trigger guard against the frame. If you dont do this you will be slowly stripping threads off the screws.
Nothing like this can be cleaned; to get rid of mold you need to remove the completely blue rotating part and to do this, disassemble the part that is in the room. We had to do this after using the new air conditioner for three months to get rid of the mold.
Nice work getting anything with this heat. My neighbor lost almost all of her tomatoes to due something eating them and the rest of her garden didn't do well this year.
My tomato crop was a total failure. My fault was not changing out the material in the bed. They all had some sort of disease. Tried taking the good meat from tomato and eating it made me extremely sick.😢.
Hi nobody. My tomatoes took off quite well and they all ended up diseased. Outside now ripping up the Rotten wooden bed getting rid of all the soil. My fault for letting diseased dead plants fall into the bed total loss. Thanks for watching.
Mobile Dyno, Man You were way ahead back then... WOW, you multifaceted capable dude. Good stuff Not as cool as the guy selling the G-strings and women's tank tops but got you to the show... Yea, I like that the store or gas is 20ish minutes away, not too far to walk but rural is RIGHT! Keep it on the wheels my man! 😎✌
Now I do have the Dyna 2000i on my '98 Softail. It's always been good I bought a spare a used one cuz new ones are expensive and I did find a used one. Friend of mine he came over the other day and a couple weeks ago I guess and it wouldn't start in the driveway and it was the diner 2000 I actually failed.. so when we bought him one it was a 2000 so you could not flip it from dual to single fire ignition it was dual fire only so I had to scrounge up a coil for him.
@@TheKiloG69 oh that happens to me right in the middle of one of my videos or just talking to my wife. Then I stand there she goes is there anything left I go I don't think so let me go inside my brain and look around lol Great video Thank you.. I'd love to get a late model Evo road King one of these days I think I've had most all kinds of other bikes except one of those That's kind of well yours is in a road King it's a full dresser but I always thought road Kings were like in between a dresser and something sporty
Wow man you had it all going on.. remember once I had a 93 I built from a rack FLH. And it took it over to Elkhart Harley-Davidson. That's after they were bought out. Now this was probably 2003 or 2004 and they already had no clue how to fiddle with a carburetor now I can fiddle with a carburetor but I was hoping they would know a little more and put it on the dyno. They came back and well that screw underneath the air mixture I said you mean the fuel mixture screw it stuck we can't move it and then charged me I forget how much I said that's okay I'll do everything my my own from now on.....
Yes .Late 98 in GA. I Very briefly worked at a a now gone Harley Davidson dealership in Stone Mountain Georgia. It was owned by attorneys and real estate investors. None of them have ever even had a motorcycle. The shop manager was a complete idiot. Never have I seen such clueless individuals in my life.I somehow managed 2 months there without killing anyone.
@@TheKiloG69 well that's a bunch of lawyers but are Elkhart dealership here in Indiana when Lou grinchner retired. And it was pretty chaotic there all the or most of the mechanics left and they opened up a shop themselves independent I don't know if they're still around but they were on US 20 I remember that.. Louie I think so Man it was like the height when Harley was really booming and shaking so I I think he he came away in a good state I know he him and his wife started touring the United States in a big old motorhome. Now his son opened up a shop on US 20. Both him and his dad were big hill climbers
When I first got my 98 Fatboy after a week it started doing that and I don't know why I thought it was the coil but I banged on it and it fired back up and I got home New coil time...
This is the first stock motorcycle I have ever owned in my life. Never own a rubber Glide before. Never owned a motorcycle with a factory Ignition before ever. always the first thing I've eliminated.
If the water in there is supposed to help cool the condenser then how is it supposed to help cool the condenser if you're draining it all out with the holes you drilled?
I have a three car garage in Texas and when we built our house I had the garage walls and ceiling insulated and put insulated doors on it but man it gets so hot and humid in there its unbearable but not now that I put the 12k unit in my garage, its like heaven now.
Another mod I did was to unscrew that bar across the the back of the frame it sets on and cut the protruding ends off by several inches then screwed that bar back on for a shorter cleaner look. No need for that massive overhang.
Our Central Air bit the big one the end of July, repair would be like $2000. Ordered one of these to evaluate it, then before next summer possibly order another. The loooong frame bothered me aesthetically. Was it difficult to customize?
My unit has a rubber plug you can remove to let the water out but it says not to remove it during operation as its meant to have water in it for proper operation or something like that, the plug is for draining when storing it says.
Excellent video! As others have commented, your video includes vital pieces of info (such as the water source bucket placement) that made it easy to understand the process. Thank you very much much!
Regardless of the warranty, is it recommended to drill holes or not to drain the water? It makes no sense of leaving the water standing in the pan when leaving the machine turned off. Please advise.
I am allergic to mold/mildew, I bought 1 of these new from Walmart for around $380 and installed it in my bedroom window. I bought it on recommendation that another ac unit would actually help decrease the humidity in my room, and help with mold. I installed it and didn't see how it was going to reduce humidity, I seen no drain for water.(I'm not knowledgeable on these things yet and assumed it was in the design to act like a dehumidifier too..) All it did was increase the humidity in my room. Around just 24 hours of use I started sensing the first signs of mildew, and now not even a week later it is filling my house with mildew smell and triggering my autoimmunity making me dizzy and my skin burn. This is by far the moldiest AC unit I've ever encountered and would like to return it to Midea. Over the years me and my family have used a number of window units, some have years of use on them, and while they look dirty and wore out, and could use a cleaning, they still blow much cleaner air than this new unit..!
It's really easy to do. Remove the directional vanes and the wire screen. Trash the screen. I use my Ryobi 18 volt pressure washer to spray down the blower wheel. The first time I did it I was surprised the wheel is blue. Takes about 1 minute of spray time.
We (Atlanta) had very heavy rain every afternoon for several weeks and then our 12k BTU Midea started putting out a mildew smell, although the squirrel cage looks clean. I had been searching the internet and was dreading getting started when I saw how people were dismantling the units. Thank God for you!! I really appreciate the videos you did and I will definitely be discarding the metal fan guard. Any ideas about why I would have a mildew smell without the squirrel cage appearing black? Also, did you use a weak bleach solution? Thanks again!!
Nice video, thanks! Did you ever send back the ac unit they asked for? EDIT: and what kind of filter did you get to add to the inside/ Can you provide a link to it? Thanks....
