I have so many projects that are written that need either editing or rewriting that I would love to do something like write, edit, publish where each step happens each month. Spin the wheel! Love that you did that to choose your camp project!
Shannon darling!! I'm so glad you did this video!! I feel your pain and doing a similar project in my room... Since it's art space, office space and my bedroom 🤣🤣🤣 Your room is wonderful!!! Thank you 🤗😘
Hello, my beautiful friend! How are you? I have to reclaim the storyteller in me and it started with taking back my space. I wish you all the luck in the world at figuring out your space! I'd sure like to see you get back to making videos and sharing your art journey!! Sending big hugs!!
@@shannonreadsandwrites I refurbished a huge fish tank stand into bookshelves/cube organizer today! I'll do a video update soon. One more huge project to do first and then I'm back come hell or high water 🤣🤣🤣 I miss being creative!!! Thank you for being your fabulous self 😘🤗
G'day love! I needed this today as I am sitting in the floor surrounded by years and years of post it notes, scribbled paper bits, old planner guts etc.... it's purge time but the important bits need different homes and I never can decide how I want to wrangle it all 😂 I love your face! 🤗🤗🤗
i enjoy using planner, (spotted) notebooks, scetchbook for my drawings, oh btw toby 0:21 is so cute, and i liked that planner, thank you for your video i found it interesting ❤
Yes goodluck on your journey im always having an idea of a story to write im always thinking of writing some idea or concept when im reading or when its late at night
@@SDHegyes The pep talks one is really good. I really like the workbook too. The kids are loving this adventure. They get so excited and I think it's because there are "no rules" just write. Create characters, create villains...they get to enjoy the creative process.
I tend to go to sleep between 9-10 and wake between 3-4, so I understand that schedule! I'm excited to hear you're still writing and doing things. I can understand writing not being a priority while working and school. I absolutely love Starlink. You didn't have to pay for the equipment?!? Jealous! They made me pay 500 for the equipment before they sent it my way. Worth it though! I love it so much! It's slowed down since I first got it. They put a cap on speeds now that more people are using it, but still better than anything I've had in the past and even better than anything available in my area, which isn't much.
We wanted Starlink but just couldn't put out the upfront cost for the equipment. We actually got a really great deal from AT&T which is what we've had since we moved out here but this new isn't a hardwire like the old...it's an "air" - I don't know but it is screaming fast!
I need to reprint the Writer Reset in an A5 size so I can keep it in my planner because I wrote it and haven't looked at it since. lol I'm not officially doing Camp, but there's projects I need to finish this month to get my career back on track.
Welcome to Big Book Summer, Shannon! I'm so glad you decided to join the fun :) And I've been meaning to check out your channel, so this was perfect! You've got some great Big Books picked out. My son LOVED the Eragon series when he was a teen. And the author's story is so intriguing - Christopher Paolini wrote it when he was only 16! My son also loved the City of Bones series and he LOVES the Mistborn series and Brandon Sanderson. He's the big fantasy reader in the family. Sounds like some excellent reading plans for the summer - enjoy! And if you decide to do any extra Big Book videos - updates or reviews of Big Books - you can also add that link to the second list on the blog. Hopefully, you'll see some new visitors from this! Nice to "meet" you :)
I would like to get to the point where I have one story in each stage of my process so I'm always working on something, but I currently have so many that just need editing that that's going to be my focus for a bit until I get a few of them published...
I haven't even started honestly. I had every intention of doing so but I've been having trouble with my car and fighting off illnesses, so I've been working and dying. Lol I have live streams scheduled every evening 9 PM MDT next week starting Monday just to give myself a kick in the butt.
If you were writing this on Kindle Vella, that cliffhanger would be a great place to end the episode (chapter). A hand reaches up and grabs her. You could even do a choose your own adventure utilizing what they call a poll - 4 choices after every episode. Vella pays. You could put up a chapter a week. :)
I love to buy journals and notebooks, but when I'm doing a first draft of something, I like to use cheap Walmart stitched books. Using ink and crossing out a lot gives me a messy copy, a work space. I'm not keeping these forever.
I love that messy look and feel! I think that's why I'm going to go back to the Stology notebook because I can add watercolor to the pages and make them crinkly and messy.
This is very exciting for you! You are in for some treats. I would recommend the UNABRIDGED Penguin black spine version of The Count of Monte Cristo translated by Robin Buss. It makes a huge difference in your reading experience. I read it in 2021 and it was the highlight of my year!!!
Getting back into the routine after #NotYouToo2022 will do your joy in writing a lot of good. Non-writerly creativity always helps (and makes a mess). Have you considered doing a Hybrid Cozy mystery/ Cozy romance? Stay as warm as you can. Happy Holidays.
We got snow last night! I hate it... Only because I was not prepared. I should be by now, but I am not. Our heat is out and we're using space heaters. Plus, I have a little car that has to make it up a steep gravel/dirt road and struggles with it. We'll manage though! We did last year!
G'day beautiful 😍 I'm catching up on your vids while I let my obnoxious characters be stupid on their own for a bit lol.... Stay warm! This weather snap is BS
I think it's great that you're going to have integrated products and do so many different things, writing, gardening, bath products. It could be overwhelming if you try to have unrealistic expectations, but it doesn't sound like that is the case, and if it did happen, you could scale back. :)
