Hello! Hypnotherapy certainly can help with mild addictions and bad habits, e.g., smoking, nail-biting, over-eating, etc. However, usually hypnotherapists do not prescribe significant changes to diet or exercise unless they are qualified to do so (i.e. have other related qualifications) 🙂
I really love everything about your course. I am ready to sign up and start, but I just have one problem. I am a Qualified Social Worker and not sure if I can legally and ethically practice Hypnotherapy without a Psychology Degree? Could you give clarity on this please?
Thank you for your kind words about our course ☺️ You can definitely practice hypnotherapy without psychology degree! We can successfully train people in a short period of time because we are very careful that when they start they work under supervision within a limited initial sphere of competence (i.e. mild or subclinical conditions). Also, as you might already know, we actually have BABCP therapists and even one of the founders of CBT on our advisory board. Our Diploma is NCIP accredited and BPS approved. If you have any concerns and questions - come to our live Q&A today (1pm BST) - us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZItceqopjwiHt3V_cM0g6-54VigxY_0rGX3#/registration. Or book a free call with one of our Student Advisors - www.ukhypnosis.com/book-a-call-with-a-course-advisor/ ☺️ Let us know if you have any other questions, we are happy to help! Hope to see you on the course soon!
Good evening. I am for to regulate hypnoterapy in UK Law ! I have been a hypmoterapist since 2019, i have 3 diplomas of hypnosis, and i want to work in london, i want to make training in the clinical practice of hypnoterapy. However, i dont known to start for this dream to live in London as hypnoterapist for Arabs in london and for the people speak french in london, if you can help me found my chance as hypnoterapist in London, i will be happier 😊. Thank you for your advice and your program 🙏🏿. Very interesting subjects.
Hi Idrissi ☺ As Mark has mentioned in the video, "hypnotherapist" is not a regulated title in the UK, so technically, anyone can be a hypnotherapist. However, we believe that one should have the right training to be able to help clients create a positive lasting change in their lives, and hypnosis alone won’t do that. That is why we created a unique Hypno-CBT® Diploma that combines cognitive-behavioural therapy, hypnosis and mindfulness. A large meta-analysis showed that adding hypnosis to CBT improves outcomes compared to standard CBT for 70% of patients (Ramundo et al 2021). If you want to learn more about setting up a hypnotherapy practice in the UK, why don’t you come to our free webinar? It runs every Tuesday at 7pm (UK time), and Mark, our College Principal and Lead Trainer, can answer all your questions ☺ You can register here - www.ukhypnosis.com/free-introductory-webinars/
Psychotherapy is the worst poison on the planet. The worst people on the planet become psychotherapists. Therapy is nothing but an insurance scam. If you aren't already crazy when you begin therapy you will be after you are finished with it.
Never really got on with Freudian / Klienian approaches. Much preferred Rogerian Humanistic empowerment of the client a collaborative restoration positive self regard. Interesting share/ book recommendation thanks again 🙏
