sir i am speaking from india. My 1600m run isn't improving, eight laps on the 200m track. About to enter at 6.30 minutes, my time there is about 8 minutes and 10 seconds. I don't have a long steps. It would be better if you give some information on how to reduce the time. Currently my weight is 69 kg
Thank you Simon. I haven't run 26.2 since Tokyo 2018. What an uplifting video, you've reminded me what running should be about, I just signed up for Paris 2025. Thank you mate, not that I'll ever break 3hrs!
Great runner. Right up with Jakob in the XC European not so long ago, not to mention progress since. Phil is also top notch. A good day job as things go, all the best to both Emile and Phil.
I wonder if Emile is on the autistic spectrum somewhere? A lot of these descriptions - his memory, time keeping and his dedication to running could suggest that. It’s not a negative point, just came across in the interviews with family and friends. Good luck for the Olympics 👍
Simply, the best. Massive respect. I can't even imagine dedication you put into it, CRAZY level of dedication, Huge, sincere respect. Thank you for sharing. Greatly appreciated it.
Massively inspiring. I could have written a long essay about how amazing Emil, Phil and you all are, Thank you so much. I am 48, teacher, Cov based. Have many good running times achieved, as an amatour, nowhere near yours guys. I am blessed to have discovered running some years ago. Thank you so much, massively inspirational, to the degree that I am going to introduce an after school club, running club, for young ones to discover the beauty of it. Regards and respect. Keep it up, please.
Just some viewer feedback to whoever is editing these videos. I've been clicking through over two years of your content, and most videos I have to turn up the volume to hear someone speaking and then move to quickly drop it back down every single time the music kicks in. I don't think anyone's here for the music - you should consider greatly lowering the volume and increasing that of the people talking.
The consensus among unpaid reviewers is it's OK for 5k and sessions. Unless you're really a lightweight the lack of stack height will pound your legs 10k and up.
Thanks so much for this video Simon! I think many people needed this video including myself! So easy to get caught up in arbitrary times and things, especially with social media - loving the positive vibes! 🙌🙌🙌🙌
Simon, I got the same medal as you 🙂I did it all on feel (tech issues / foot issues in training) and had a great run just trying to talk to people and enjoying the bands. You could have done 2 marathons in the time I did mine but we got the same medal .... and enjoyment!
