Beautiful old bikes, the kind of place I'd like to ride at. I note they use far to many sticks too close to the track that doesn't allow for overtaking plus they are potential impaling obstacles
..what do you need to take part in this...im not a member of any club but have been riding enduro for 20 odd years..can i just turn up and enter(right bike and gear???)
Most of the riders shown are clubman or sportsman riders (yellow plates or black I think). The laps are about 20 miles long possibly more and usually 3 for clubman but expert and championship riders would do 4. It's about pacing yourself and conserving energy for the special test. So it's about 4 to 5 hours of hard terrain. Don't knock it until you have had a go. It's easy to be an expert rider from your laptop. Well done to all the guys who rode the event.
