No particular focus on this channel except real life. I try to record various events that I experience firsthand; things like: raising livestock, gardening, pipe smoking, hunting, fishing, family life, and so much more. I look to others for help along this journey. I've lived in various places around the world, and each place I have visited, (be it Central America, Europe, or Southeast Asia), has left an indelible mark. Join with me as I do life. Thank you for stopping by.
thank you for sharing history on this firearm, I thought the same thing when I got mine but knowing the history behind it I wouldn't want to change it either. Ill have to look more in depth into all the history behind this gun and see if I can uncover something. mine does have that cap in the stock but I don't know what it really is used for either but if you find more out let me know Id love to know more!
I believe Its just a Plug missing, in the end-cap. No tools were stored in there. The Plug is only there, so You can remove It, to get to the Stock Screw, if You need to remove the Stock.
Congratulations, Mark - that looks great 👍 The casings do the job without detracting from the gun. The plaque displays the gun beautifully. Now - for the big question - the shape of the plaque is a wonderful example of a 1908 mustache - deliberate or coincidental? My vote is for deliberate. It would be the kind of detail that you would think of. Cheers!
That's a thoughtful gift, Mark, and that's what it's all about, isn't it? - doing things and making things for people because that's how treat people, family, friends, and strangers, because you care. We need a lot more of that in the world. Be well, my friend, and stay on that road of awesome - peace ✌
Hey, Mark - that is a really cool acquisition - unpretentious, but practical in its day. Mounting it for display is a great way to honor its age and antique status. Best that your 4th was uninterrupted without further excitement. Be well and keep it awesome - peace ✌
Probably one of the best videos that I have seen in quite a while. I think you articulated what many of us feel about pipe smoking. “Maybe I smoke a pipe because I’m a pipe smoker.” Ex Act Ly! Well done.
Hey, Mark - your mystery tool is an automotive door spring removal tool - Vintage KD K-D MFG CO. Door Handle Spring Removal Tool Part No 430 Made In USA - the manufacturer and model may not be exactly the same, but if you search on the name you will recognize the tool. You found some great stuff to put into your tool box. The snap ring tool is an odd one. The mechanism makes sense, but the design may have been limited to a single manufacturer. The pliers mechanism model seems to have quickly eclipsed the scissor mechanism version. The pickaxe turned out great and I'm sure that the bellows will, also. There is a sense of accomplishment when you give something a second life. Best that you emerge from the heat and drought soon. Be well and keep it on the awesome side - peace ✌
Congratulations! Thank you for what you do! Law enforcement definitely needs support from agencies like yours. We can only do so much and rely heavily on people like you. Im sure K county will be better with you.
Congratulations, Mark 👍Best wishes and prayers for every possible success. Serving the most vulnerable in our society is both difficult and holy work. Be well and be blessed - Cheers ✌
It must be great news, Mark - you now have that trim and tidy look - and it looks most professional 👍Side note: Pabst Blue Ribbon was a familiar name to me in my college days (1965-1970) not because I drank it (underage through most of that time), but because a cousin's husband used to buy the quart sized bottle for after work. Be well and stay on the awesome side - peace ✌
