So you uh got some sun-dried tomatoes in olive oil there? Actually, it’s just tomato paste and the olive oil is pork fat Oh, so I’m wrong on both accounts Anybody getting a Mike Goldberg vibe
it was so much more elegant during the first season of it. It actually made you hungry. During the later seasons, they added all of these ridiculous dramatic sound effects which really made it unbearable to watch.
As a fan of the original Japanese Iron Chef I am quite impressed with the commentary by Alton Brown here, he is quite knowledgeable in terms of Japanese cuisine. I only vaguely recall watching later seasons of American Iron Chef and they seemed to be bigger on the drama and spectacle so I appreciate the respect they are giving to the chefs and their cooking here.
First I would like to say thank you for posting this ICA episode but it would be alot better if you had a better quality picture! It is very difficult trying to watch while it is out of focus so much! 🦂👨🍳🥂
