I will say for Big Finish stories I hope Sadie gets to meet the Doctors Time Lord, arch-enemy the Master as Sarah Jane only really met the Master on television in the 20th anniversary story the 5 Doctors and Liz would have met and worked with the Roger Delgado Master in the finale for Jon Pertwee which was to be originally called the Final Game in 6 parts and also the Master was to apparently be bumped off in an enormous cosmic explosion and he was to be revealed to be a darker side of the Doctor a shame this story never happened and Liz Sladen did not get to work with Roger Delgados Master.
I just found my cassette of this in my cellar but have no VHS player so wanted to see if it was available on RU-vid. I've watched the first 3 minutes or so and can nearly recite it word for word. I watched this constantly growing up and think about lines from it. Probably too often to be healthy! Thank you so much for the upload. It's made my day!! ❤
It’s so funny my Mum and Dad and my sister and I lived next door to Liz and Brian and little Sadie, in Ealing. When I got married, Liz let me borrow her veil that she’d worn at her own wedding. It was beautiful, long but very light, it was such a lovely thing for her to do.❤
Gawd these ads were on constantly in 2000 / 2001.... This was one of the later ones, as the earlier ones featured Harry Hill, as opposed to Lucy Porter featured here... I remember all four of the phones shown in this ad - I actually had the Siemens C35i as my very first mobile phone - worst phone I've ever owned. I loved the novelty of the flip cover and vibrating alert (unbelievably looking back 24 years on, not all phones had vibrating alert at that time) on the Ericsson T10 at the time, although I never owned one. I never owned the Motorola V2288 WAP either, although several people I know who did said it wasn’t worth it as the FM radio was problematic and kept malfunctioning... In 2001, my C35i got stolen, and I got the Nokia 3310 as a replacement - it was a pretty decent phone, and lasted ages, I was still using it by around 2007... Looking at this advert by 2024 standards, these phones now look really primitive, like relics from a bygone era!
