Hey there! it's very possible that the tire isn't fully seated if it falls off after you deflate (it shouldn't unseat at all). I'd recommend trying to spray the tire/wheel edge with soapy water with a spray bottle to help the tire seat properly on as that's what has been helpful for me. Best of luck!

There a game where you must get a hoop to the other side of the wire, and if you touch the wire you get an electric shock. Now imagine if we could adapt this into some sort of security device, and place with in your bag. So the pickpocket, sneakily open the zip on your bag-pack, and now puts her finger in the 👜 and ⚡💢

I hate the feel of these more than I hate the feel of a condom. It sucks not being able to raise or drop the tire pressure to suit the surface I'm riding on.
Pickpocket will be greatly reduced if the locals and cops take action instead of letting the tourists fend for themselves. They want tourists money but do nothing about the pickpockets. Shame on you!
I am just waiting for such girls. This pocket of my backpack, which I don't use at all, is full of fixed fishing hooks, so she will stay with me for a while and I will walk faster and faster.
For those who think this may have been staged, I have an entire walkthrough video (part 1) and you can see we were exploring old town for quite a while before even getting to the cathedral. The pickpocketing is also seen in that video. You also see us talking to him to check to see if anything was taken (nothing was). It was my wife’s idea to make this short version to capture people’s attention and get to the point as most viewers would probably miss this portion of the tour in our 30 minute video. Thanks for those who were supportive, and pickpocketers are of all race and genders (just look at what’s going on in London).
Distraction is also very common. I had someone ask me to take a picture of them in Florence, Italy. Someone tried to pickpocket me from behind. A tourist guide shouted a warning, I gave the guy his camera back and he just smiled.
And you just happen to be right on theirs backs videoing? And they didn't even appear to notice you? I've traveled extensively in Europe and I know pickpocketing does occur. But this looks staged for the camera.
Wonderful video:) We are visiting Paris and Lyon for a week each in September. I would have loved to have seen you both enjoy the bakeries and watched you guys enjoy a meal. Soooo yes, you have to definitely go back for another visit:) We are staying just a couple of minutes walk from the funicular leading to the cathedral so we will be in the hub of things. @@vickikay54True, no deterrent. I did see videos where they are just called out loudly as pickpockets and they scurry away. Good idea to have lookouts in popular places to announce their presence.

You should have alerted the victim as soon as you saw it happening to interrupt the potential theft. It seems like you were more focused on your video.

Outside you were recording the 3 women suspects as they were walking away from the Church and then continued to record them as 2 of them moved quickly towards the building where a line was forming, following the victim. You had the camera squarely on those women during the whole process. You even did a close up of the woman sticking her fingers inside the backpack (???). A better explanation is that you wanted a video of a robbery as it was happening to pretend to help RU-vidrs avoid being pickpocketed, when really you wanted a clean video of a successful robbery with no intervention by yourselves and more YT clics. The best explanation shows you being completely immoral.

My husband had his travel camera on (a small black box that just attaches to his backpack strap in the front) our whole trip to capture our trip. I was the one who saw what the girl was doing, but only right before getting into the cathedral. Right after I saw, we got in the building and alerted the tourist. In this video, you see this whole thing taking place as if in slow motion, but this all happened very quickly. Based on what I saw right before entering the cathedral, I asked my husband to show me everything he captured, and lo and behold, the pickpocketers were in his film from the very beginning and we caught the whole operation. Hence I thought we should make this video. Hope that clarifies!
Caleb’s wife here. I had already explained in a previous comment but it seems to have been removed so I am reposting. people seem to mistakenly assume that Caleb had some huge camera filming this whole operation. His camera, however, was a tiny black box that clips onto the front strap of his backpack, and he had it on most of our lyon trip to capture the whole thing. The pick pocketers had no idea they were being filmed, we had no idea we would run into the pickpockets (ofc we alerted the guy after realizing) but lo and behold everything was captured when we checked the footage.
@@t.d.186unfortunately this is not racist it is the truth. There are gangs of Romanian people using young girls ( sometimes boys but rarely) for begging, pickpocketing all over touristic places and in subways, queues, etc… it is a fact.
