As a Swede I love this! Do this as often as I can! In the winter you should do the same but also have thermos with and some "Oboy" it's just awesome! and cozy!
Not many are able to show most of Trondheim in less than seven minutes. One of my favorite places in Norway is situated far north of where you are and east of Kairo. Guess where!
Considering that you just exposed the wood by carving a pointy end on the stick there is no bacteria to consider, in addition wood has natural antibacterial properties so you definitely do not have to worry about this.
First snow? where i Live just north of Uppsala i would say November but one that stay at least overnight second half of December. For Mora, northern Dalarna (where I was born, and most of my ancestry is from) I would say first snow second half of October and the one that stays mid to late November. So for central Jämtland, which IIRC are where you live, first snow mid October, the one that stays late probably about middle of November
Pretty accurate in my opinion. At least the part about Dalarna, sadly I have no clue for Uppsala. But for western and northern Dalarna I'd say that your statement is very accurate. Notable exceptions to this is once when the first snow came in September, and stayed. And also in 2021, I believe, when it snowed on 21th of May. :) However, this is all completely different in the mountains. Dalafjällen probably has a lot more impressive weather records than areas such as Älvdalen, Mora and Vansbro. But again: That's in the mountains.
@@cynic7049 yeah that sounds right 😃 people living in put are said that last year they had snow in the end of September but more in the end of October 🥰🙌🏽
Man kan ju även köpa gasgrill för att helt eliminera allt vad trivselfaktor heter... :) Allt runtomkring själva grillningen är ju halva charmen, att tälja ett grillspett hör till. Det är sen gammalt.
If you pass a railway where the tracks are shiny on top, the line is in fairly frequent use. Normally more than one train a day. I can understand that you like waterfalls ... have you been to the "opposite?" a silent fall; "Döda Fallet" about 100 km east of Östersund at Ragunda. Worth a detour!
Well if you dislike something in my homecountry of Sweden feel free to express so. Impossible to like everything in Sweden even as a Swede. For instance, I love history and have been to Rome. I love the buildings, architecture and all that - but would I want to live there? Hell no😂
If you would want To try out a tasty cucumber 🥒 go to Ica Maxi in Östersund and get their own made cucumber, it is very good 😋. The italian restaurant you walked past, Basta, is a really great restaurant with yummy food 😋.
Stayed one afternoon and evening in Östersund during my 2024 middle-and-north-sweden tour. Typical nice middle-sized swedish town which could have been even better if it had been better kept like Sundsvall. Had a great dinner att Jazzköket, but also enjoyed watching the sunset at the patio of Bishops Arms at the main square. And yes, I also like Espresso House. They have some kind of base quality. There are better places if you look for them, but there are are also many less good.
I did my military service in Östersund in the 1960ies :). The city then had three regiments of which none is still there. I was at A4, artillery regiment, beautiful area now hosting Mitthögskolan. Then it was I5, infantry regiment located where the winter sport center now is. Finally there was F4 on Frösön, an Air Force base. I think there still is an airport there? Anyway I liked Östersund very much, its people the friendly but small city center with nice cafés and cinemas.
I think you have to explain Swish and Bank-ID for viewers outside Sweden. Sorry I can´t recommend any restaurants in Östersund, I live a little bit further north...
I don’t like Swish, it‘s absolutely discriminating foreigners. We have a vacation house in the south of Sweden and do not live there permanently, therefore no personnummer and no swish. Even a lot of bigger companies only accept swish, and they are absolutely not interested to give foreigners an alternative payment option.
I believe there is a EU equivalent coming that everyone with a European bank account can use. If there are stores and companies that only accept swish I would actually be a bit suspicious and perhaps stay away from them. If I’m not incorrect, it’s actually more expensive for companies to receive payments with the incorporate version of Swish than it is to receive payments by credit cards. There are known cases where organised crime use swish to launder money. Corporate swish always have a number starting with 123 followed by seven digits. If a company wants you to swish to a number that doesn’t start with 123 I would leave.
Thanks for your videos mostly about your leasure, free time. I am interested to know what you do to earn your living in Sweden. There must be work days ....
We always film our weekend trips for you guys, because during the week, nothing really happens besides work 🤣 we are both self-employed, me as a Manager for Social Media, Giulio as a Videographer, Video Editor and Content Creator for Brands 🙌🏽
